The Emancipation of Mimi was released as Mariah Carey's tenth studio album. It was released in 2005 and not only did I buy one copy, but I bought two. They were a little different. One was the standard edition and the other was the re-issue of The Emancipation of Mimi, otherwise known as the Ultra Platinum edition.
