Don't Forget About Us was released as the first track from the re-issue of The Emancipation of Mimi. I can still remember when the re-issue was released and even though I had already bought the standard edition of The Emancipation of Mimi, I wanted the re-issue or ultra platinum edition. The re-issue or ultra platinum edition contains Don't Forget About Us but it also comes with a DVD including four music videos from the era on it.
