V

Ok this show was heart wrenching and heart breaking to get through all at the same time.  I am watching it for the second time, but maybe I should not have because it is so dull and boring.  I am looking forward to some other shows that I have not seen because watching the same thing over and over is not appealing.  I have no idea why I did that, but I felt like doing it when I first started this blog but after doing it for so long I have decided that it is too boring to keep doing.  I am not sure when I will stop but this show is pretty good if you step back for a minute and realize that it has one of the best actresses in the business and that is Morena Baccarin.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand

This show on the other hand is still super exciting to me as it has just begun and if everything works out great, it will be back for a third season and then some.  I have yet to watch the second season but that is because I am waiting until it is released on DVD to watch it because I love this show so much that I have to own it.  I will have to live with that for a while though because it will not be released until this fall and it is only a six episode season due to Andy Whitfield's illness.  Let's hope he gets better soon and the show is picked up for a third season where he can become the lead actor again.  He is really an amazing actor and it is so nice to see someone like that for a change who takes their job seriously.

Legend of the Seeker

This show is so boring, but it's a good thing I am almost through with the series as I may never watch it again, depending on how desperate I am for entertainment.  It was so good in the beginning when I first started watching it but now that I have begun to do different things, it just reminds me of the past and where I used to be.  The series finale was the best show ever but I have quite a while before I get to that.  Thank God I am almost halfway through though because the rest might be easy to wiz through.

The Tudors

Ok this show has some amazing acting on it.  Of course it has its bad moments too, but overall it is an amazing show and I can see why it did good in America even though it is a completely outside America production.  I am proud of that too, since it is rare to find a mainstream doing well show that is not produced in America.  I guess all of those Americans can forget the fact that they only produce good shows, music and films.  Although they still produce most of the amazing shows, music, and films.  I just can't believe how amazing they are, having just watched the Oscars, and Grammys.  I am in love with American culture, or at least their pop culture.  The rest of their culture isn't that great which is why I live in Canada.

Brothers and Sisters

This show is another show that is completely boring.  I have no idea why I got this show either.  It is so boring that I can see why it is in its time slot after Desperate Housewives on ABC at 10:00pm Eastern Time.  I should give it a better chance but it is just so melodramatic and not keeping my interest that I keep forgetting to even watch it.  Even though I own it on DVD so I can watch it at my own discretion.  It's just I keep thinking about the Oscars and how exciting they were that I can't get in to these low budget shows that are not nearly as entertaining as the films I have seen.

Private Practice

This show is pretty boring.  I have no idea why I purchased it, but I was desperate at the time for new material.  Kate Walsh is a good actress but she in no way is Oscar worthy.  I just finished watching the Oscars and I must say that they were absolutely amazing.  It's nothing like seeing some really good acting that is completely Oscar worthy.  I just feel that this show has a lot to prove and it is doing a pretty bad job.  Kate Walsh should just go back to Grey's Anatomy where she belongs, because having since left that show my favor of her has completely subsided.

Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time

This movie was pretty good.  It was nothing like seeing it in the theatre, but some movies are better on the small screen since high definition has come along.  I would almost rather watch a movie in hi def now because the big screen is nowhere near the resolution you get with a blu ray.  Anyhow this movie was ok.  Jake Gyllenhaal was ok in it.  It was not his best performance ever but it was pretty good.  I would rather see him in something a little more dramatic, but the time travelling in this movie was pretty exciting.  I recommend this film to people of all ages.

Avril Lavigne

Ok this song was pretty good.  I downloaded it right away I think so if you are thinking of downloading it then I recommend it.  It really is an amazing song even though it is a little cheesy.  That's ok though because I will probably never download another Avril Lavigne song ever unless she does something really good.  I think her album might be a flop but it's hard to tell because this song is really doing well in the States.  That does not mean the album will, but it most likely will.  Anyhow I was actually trying to tell you that she might not have a great follow up single and that is normal but really she has had a huge break, it's just I find her material a little boring.

T.I.

I was totally desperate for more T.I. after he released the first single from his most recent album.  That was a mistake.  I should not have downloaded this song, but it is so easy to download his songs because T.I. is really an amazing rapper, but this song is horrible.  I do not recommend it, but I recommend the rest of the album because it really is an amazing album.  Not like his album before but who could ever duplicate that.  Paper Trail is still one of my all time favorite albums.  I love it so much that I think I will start listening to it again for a minute.  I will let you know how that turns out.

Avril Lavigne

This song is pretty good.  I only downloaded it because I was in the mood for more Avril Lavigne after downloading What the Hell.  What the Hell is a pretty good song and I love Alice in Wonderland, so I figured what the hell.  I might as well download some more Canadian content even though I shy away from it because it never does well in the States, except for rare instances.  I usually always download those, but most Canadian content these days is pretty generic and I am sick of the abundance who want to make it in the States, like super stars Drake and Justin Bieber.  I can see downloading some of their stuff but the majority of Canadian content is dry and boring.

Lost

Ok this show is still super exciting to me and probably always will be.  I found the second season a little long and the third season is a little long too, but every season after that is condensed so it should be really easy to whip through the rest of the series and that will make it even more exciting.  I already have season four and five sitting right here in my room ready to be watched so I will be writing about this show and watching this show for a very long time.  As is the case with Grey's Anatomy and Desperate Housewives though I am taking a break from watching season six, although it might take me longer to get through the seasons I have right here before the price comes down which is usually not until Christmas.

Grey's Anatomy

This show is actually getting pretty exciting again, only because there is a new actor in season five and I love that since he is one of my favorite actors of all time, Kevin McKidd.  I am enjoying this show quite a bit right now since I just finished the fourth season after whipping through that since it was a condensed season.  The two seasons before that were pretty long since they were extended seasons but that is ok since I preferred those seasons the most.  It's just that there are always people coming and going in this show and although it makes for some interesting storylines, it gets kind of old too.  But I am also taking a break from this show too since I am also waiting for the sixth season to come down in price before I purchase it and that might not be till the end of the year.

Desperate Housewives

I am quickly becoming extremely bored of this show but good thing I am fast approaching the season finale of season five since I am taking a long extended break from this show until the price comes down for season six.  I will not be writing about this show as much and I am sure that is good for everyone since it gets kind of old to keep hearing about the same thing all the time.  I have watched almost five seasons of this show since the beginning of last year and although the first four seasons were pretty entertaining, I find the fifth season a little boring and dry.  The sixth season is actually what I am looking forward to.  It should be exciting and I already know what happened in some of it as I have seen some of that season because this show is still on the air.  I have heard that it is also being renewed for another season so that means there will be an eighth season as well since season seven is on the air right now.

Clash of the Titans

This movie is pretty neat but if I compare it to the most recent movies I have seen, well I would have to say that it isn't a very good movie.  The plot is poor and the acting is about the same.  Sam Worthington is a great actor but if you are looking for a performance that will blow you away then you have to see Avatar.  You could also see Terminator Salvation but it isn't much better even though Christian Bale is the lead actor in that movie.  Christian Bale is an amazing actor and Sam Worthington has some big shoes to fill if he is looking to replace him, but Christian Bale has had his fair share of controversy even though he is being hailed for his most recent performance in The Fighter.  I recommend all these movies, but especially Avatar having not seen The Fighter yet.

The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King

This film was the cream of the crop.  I am so glad that I decided to watch this trilogy again, because this movie in particular was the best and so worth the wait it took to get to see it.  I recommend this film to everyone and it is no wonder that it won so many academy awards.  It won every academy award it was nominated for and that is a record.  Not only that, it was the only fantasy film to ever win best picture and still is to this day.  By the way, the Academy Awards are on in one week from this Sunday night.  That should be exciting and I am really looking forward to that.  The Grammys were just on and the Academy Awards are even better.

The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers

This movie was the worst of the three if you ask me.  It had a darker feel and if you love movies, then you are usually aiming for a lighter appeal and that is what you got with the last installment, which is what saved this film.  The last one was super inspiring and the second one was a bit exciting even though you have to watch all three to get the entire experience.  I made the mistake of seeing the last one in the theatre when it came out and I had not seen the first two.  I was totally lost and the third one at that time was a complete blur as this trilogy has an ensemble cast and you have to get to know the characters in the first two to understand what is going on in the last.  I recommend this film and all three films to everyone.

The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring

Well I love this movie, but it is getting old.  I watched it for around the tenth time, but that is ok because I got to listen to it really loud, on a true HD TV.  It was pretty exciting but I would have loved to have seen it in high definition.  It just so happens that I bought the DVD trilogy just before the Blu Ray trilogy came out so I was in no rush to purchase that, although it would have been amazing, but I had just watched it about five times so I wanted some new material.  And new material I got, but I cannot seem to get enough as I purchase movies all the time.

Britney Spears

Ok maybe I did not make perfectly clear how good Britney's new song is but I just saw the video for it tonight and it is absolutely amazing.  I know I am promoting her Blackout album on this page but if you think back to when that album was released then you will understand how amazing her new song is and the video just makes it all the more exciting.  I just checked out iTunes and there is even a remix single to her new song with more than one remix on it.  I will be downloading that for sure.  Stay tuned for more about Britney.

Ok this show is pretty boring too but I am watching this for the second time as well.  The first time around was almost just as boring though so do not get me wrong, but the lead actress in this series, or one of the lead actresses, is amazing, and if for no other reason than to watch it for her then I recommend it.  This show is also still on the air as far as I know, and you can catch it on ABC.  I know I just saw a commercial for it and I was excited to see it, because I have never seen a commercial for this show ever.  Anyhow if you have time and if you like the ABC franchise then I recommend it.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand

This show is an amazing show.  It is still on the air as far as I know, and what I mean by that is that the second season is still on television right now, but it is an extremely shortened season so it might have already ended, but if it isn't and you have access to the channel that it is on then I recommend watching it right away, or you can do what I am doing and that is waiting until it is released either on DVD or Blu Ray.  Either way it should be an exciting experience.  This is one of my favorite shows and I am watching this for the second time as well, although it is not as nearly as boring as Ugly Betty.

Ugly Betty

This show is really beginning to bore me but that is because I am watching it for the second time around and the first time around I found season two to be extremely boring.  It is a shortened season and that is excellent because it is such a bore, but it is one of my all time favorite shows.  It is just a good thing that there was a writers strike that year because it made the season nice and short.  It is not that I do not love this show but you have to understand where I am coming from.  The show is excellent, but if you have to leave out a season then I recommend leaving out season two.

Keri Hilson

Pretty Girl Rock is a great song contrary to popular belief.  I almost gave in to that popular belief but it is a good thing that I have my own opinion because this song is really good and it did an amazing job at growing on me, especially in such a short time.  It has a great message behind it and if you think that she is conceited for saying such things then I suppose you do not feel you are beautiful, either inside or out.  I recommend this song to anyone who is a Keri Hilson fan.

P!nk

This song was a huge flop in my opinion, especially after the instant success of Raise Your Glass.  It was just a poor choice for a follow-up single considering Raise Your Glass did so well.  Her Greatest Hits...So Far!!! package was an amazing choice at this time and a really amazing collection and it was definitely worth the wait, but I am disappointed in this song.  It often happens when greatest hits are released and there happens to be two new singles released off of it as well.

Wiz Khalifa

This is probably my favorite song this year.  It is an amazing hip hop track and I recommend it to anyone who is remotely interested in hip hop or even dare I say pop.  It is just an amazing song and I recommend it to everyone really.  I did not want to give in to the peer pressure of downloading it but I submitted as it threw me for a loop the first time I heard it.  I could not believe that someone was rapping this good.  I have not heard such utter and raw talent since the days of T.I. come and gone.  Anyhow I think I will be supporting this artist for a while as he has some really amazing talent.  I recommend this song to anyone.

Legend of the Seeker

That was a great episode of Legend of the Seeker.  I cannot recommend this show enough as it is one of my favorite shows of all time.  It reminds me of Xena: Warrior Princess and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, and it is no wonder because it has some of the same producers and is of the same format that those two shows have.  I recommend all those shows because they really bring you to another world and who doesn't love Lucy Lawless.  She is amazing in that show and if you have not seen Spartacus: Blood and Sand, then I recommend that show as well.

Lost

That was a pretty good episode of Lost.  It was not the best and definitely not the best to come.  I enjoy this show but it is getting a little bit dry.  Maybe I am watching it too much but it seems to have lost some of its magic and organization in terms of production.  I don't find it is being as well produced as it once was.  Maybe it is because it is changing producers so much and not keeping the same ones.  None the less it is an amazing show and I am glad that I have chosen to watch it.  Maybe I just need a break.

Grey's Anatomy

That was a great season finale to Grey's Anatomy, season four.  I am on to the fifth season now and then I am taking a long break from Grey's Anatomy as I am finding it a little bit boring, but that is because I have watched four seasons since the summer.  It was great while it lasted but I must say that I am looking forward to the break and the show is getting a little bit boring now that some of the most famous characters have left.  That will only increase as I get to season six and seven.  A lot of the characters who were original to the show have left and I find a show always suffers for that whenever it happens.  Anyhow I am looking forward to the fifth season and even the sixth, but I will be taking a break.

Desperate Housewives

That was an ok episode of Desperate Housewives.  Things are beginning to heat up a bit as I am approaching the end of the season.  It's pretty exciting to see the storyline develop but I am looking forward to a break from Desperate Housewives and I am sure that my readers and followers are as well, and I am almost there.  I do not plan on buying the sixth season right away and I am only seven episodes away from the end of this season.  I am looking forward to it actually because the end of the season is always exciting on Desperate Housewives.

Alien Resurrection

Alien Resurrection was probably the best Alien movie in terms of supporting cast, but that is only because Winona Ryder was in it.  Say what you want about Winona Ryder, but she is a phenomenal actress and celebrity even though her character was weak in this movie.  She really did make the movie though, because what I remember most is her acting in it and how great it was.  Of course the movie overall was not as good as the original but that is to be expected as part of an anthology.  This anthology overall was an amazing one and to see it on blu ray was even more exciting.  I recommend this anthology to anyone over the age of 18.

Alien 3

Alien 3 was probably the worst of the four movies in the anthology.  I just did not find it as compelling.  It was kind of like the crappy Alien movie.  There was very little supporting cast and the only other character I grew fond of was killed off during the first few moments of the film.  I enjoy the other three much more and I must say that the addition of Winona Ryder in the fourth installment really saved the series.  If it weren't for her in the fourth, I might not have watched the third.  Like I said, it was a pretty good movie but nothing like the first two and certainly not like the fourth.  I give this film a dismal two out of five stars.

Aliens

This was a great movie.  I have seen it throughout the years, but it was nothing like seeing it on blu ray.  I love blu rays, and it breathed a whole new life into this movie that I have seen before.  I have never paid as close attention to this movie as I did this most recent time around but I have seen it before and it is amazing.  I love Sigourney Weaver and I think she is just an amazing actress.  If you have not seen her in Avatar, then I recommend that as well, and above everything I recommend these four movies as she is the star of these films.

Alien

The first Alien movie was probably the best, as is usual with most trilogies or anthologies.  I just found it to be extremely exciting whereas the last three were not that great.  I am a huge Alien fan and when I was presented with the opportunity to purchase these four movies, I jumped at the chance.  I was most impressed with the first Alien movie like I said but that is mostly because I had not seen it till that point.  I had not seen the last two either but when it comes to movies and sequels, the sequels usually lag in originality.  I enjoyed the last two, and I enjoyed the second, however, I have seen the second before.

The Tudors

That was a great episode of The Tudors, but it could have used a little less execution style action.  I find it disturbing when people get executed in this show but I suppose that is how they used to do things back then.  I am not a fan of it, but that episode was pretty good and I am a huge fan of the production and plot of this show.  It is really an amazing show and it is surprising given that it is partially Canadian.  Anyhow I know people from all countries will like it, especially those in the UK and the United States.

Brothers and Sisters

That was an extremely boring episode of Brothers and Sisters.  I have no idea how I got through it, but there was some food here to help.  The next show I am going to watch is The Tudors and that should be exciting, since it is in its final season.  Anyhow I still like Brothers and Sisters but I am slowly realizing why it took me so long to watch it again.  I was not looking forward to this episode and now I know why.  I believe in this show though so I am not giving up on it, just waiting for it to heat up again.

Private Practice

Ok that was a pretty boring episode of Private Practice, but I am holding out hope as things are heating up between Addison and Pete and it is hot.  This show is ok but if you are a fan of Dr. Addison Montgomery as I am then you will find it bearable, but that is about it.  I haven't watched it for about a week, but getting back into it was kind of a difficult process.  The acting is pretty bad and when you compare it to Grey's Anatomy, as I often do, then you will find that the acting and plot just are not as good.  I give this show two stars out of five, but that is not a lot as I often love every show I watch.

Britney Spears

This is a great song.  It is not an amazing song but it is pretty good.  I downloaded it right away so I have no idea what that tells you but it was definitely not as exciting as her supposed comeback song entitled Gimme More.  I am still reeling over that album and it is no wonder because it had what I call amazing hits on it.  Piece of Me is an amazing song and it will go down as one of my all time favorites in history.  I love that song so much and I continue to listen to it.  This is a great song too and if you get the chance then you should download it legally.

Chris Brown

Ok this is a total crap song and I completely expected that but I decided to download it anyway because I wanted to give it a chance, and I did, a five second chance.  It is just awful but I decided to give it a shot like I said because I was so impressed with the success and inspirational feeling behind his most recent success Yeah 3X.  That is an amazing song and no matter how you feel about Chris Brown, I am sure you will be impressed.  Please check it out if you can and if not then give Deuces a shot.

Usher

That was a pretty good song from Usher.  Nothing like his days back in 2010 but that is ok and expected.  How could you follow up the success of DJ Got Us Fallin' In Love, without a flop?  Anyhow it is still a great song and I do appreciate it, but perhaps a break after the next time to reflect and write better material would be a better idea instead of dropping album after album.  Anyhow like I said, it is a good song.

Madonna

That was an amazing tour.  I recommend it to everyone.  I watched it last night for the umpteenth time and it was exhilarating.  I am so impressed with that tour and I am so impressed with the tour that followed.  If you are a Madonna fan then you will enjoy both and even if you are not then you might enjoy them.  I recommend it to all.

Legend of the Seeker

That was an excellent episode of Legend of the Seeker.  It is one of my favorite episodes of Legend of the Seeker as it sees the show heating up in its final hour.  I recommend this show to anyone who is an avid fan of fantasy and adventure.  It has some amazing actors and actresses and the characters are really brought to life with these actors and actresses.  I love the sisters of the light and I love the sisters of the dark.  It is hard to decide between the two as they are mortal enemies.  But it is sure nice to see them both in action.  I recommend this show to people of all ages.

Lost

That was an extremely good episode of Lost.  I am really getting excited because I am approaching the season finale of season three and the Lost season finales are always cliffhangers.  It is really amazing to watch and I recommend this show to anyone over 18 as it is a little graphic but for anyone over that age it is a must see.  It reminds me of the reality show Survivor because it is so closely related as they are all stranded on an island and all have to fend for themselves.

Grey's Anatomy

That was an excellent episode of Grey's Anatomy.  It was the first part of the two part season finale of the shortened season four due to the writer's strike that year.  Anyhow it was a good show and some of the episodes were extended and if you are a fan of Grey's Anatomy then you know that the second season was super long and so was the third.  The fifth season will probably be back to normal but that is ok because there have been so many episodes of Grey's Anatomy produced thus far.  The show is in its seventh season and can be found on the air as we speak.  It has also been renewed for an eighth season as far as I know.

Desperate Housewives

That was an amazing episode of Desperate Housewives.  I am in love with this show and it really shows as I have purchased five seasons in the last year alone.  The only other two shows that I own that many seasons of are Lost and Grey's Anatomy, two other ABC franchises.  The only show that I have watched more episodes of than any other show is Desperate Housewives, however.  I still have season four and five of Lost to watch and season five of Grey's Anatomy.  I am a television watchaholic but I have tamed it down in the last little while.  There is actually a website for watches called watchaholic but I am not sure if it is actually a word.
