Swedish House Mafia/Ferry Corsten: Save the World/Punk [Arty Rock-N-Rolla Mix]

I just finished listening to the mash-up of Save the world and the Arty Rock-n-rolla mix of Punk.  I am not sure what to think of this mash-up or track but it is pretty crazy sounding.  I am not even sure it is technically a mash-up but that’s my best guess at this point.  Ferry Corsten sounds like a pretty amazing force to be reckoned with.  He is responsible for the track Punk as part of this mash-up, however additional production is care of Arty.  I think it was a genius idea to include this track in this way on this album.

Swedish House Mafia: Greyhound

Greyhound is a pretty sick track. I stumbled upon it unexpectedly as I was only going to listen to Save the world. But then when Greyhound came on I was so impressed that I decided to continue listening to it. It is the first track on Swedish House Mafia's second Compilation album entitled Until Now. Their first Compilation album was entitled Until One and it was released two years to the day before their current. That was October 22nd, 2012.

deadmau5: Superliminal

Superliminal is an excellent track. It is the first track included on >album title goes here<, deadmau5's sixth Studio album. I highly recommend that album, having been released in September of 2012. It was released right around the same time as Push and Shove, No Doubt's sixth Studio album. I highly recommend that album as well and in fact I recommend it about ten times more because Gwen Stefani is the bomb terrorist when it comes to glam rock. No one tops her, not even Alanis Morissette and she comes pretty close. I think that No Doubt is the best rock band I have ever heard and even though that is a little off topic, I often group them together with my Electronic music Playlists.

Nari & Milani: Atom (Original mix)

The original mix of Atom is exciting. Produced by Nari & Milani in Italy, it was recorded in one of the key Member states of the European Union. So key, that it was one of the original six to form the union; although it was not labeled the European Union back then. This track was later used in the Cavo Paradiso '12 music festival in Greece, yet another key Member state in the European Union. The European Union is effectively the resurrected Holy Roman Empire.

Tiësto: Traffic

Traffic is a great track included on Tiesto's Compilation album entitled Magikal Journey: The Hits Collection 1998-2008. There is also a track of the same name on Benny Benassi's Compilation album entitled Cavo Paradiso '12. That track is produced by Burns & NT89 as Benny Benassi's Compilation album is a Compilation album featuring other DJs and Producers whereas Tiesto's Compilation album is his own work.

Tiësto: Louder than Boom

Louder than Boom is a wicked track. I am in love with it even after all of this time and even buying other material. It was the first track I chose to listen to from Tiesto's Compilation album entitled Magikal Journey: The Hits Collection 1998-2008. I have owned this album since November of 2012; this is the end of January 2013 that I am writing this and even though I took a large break from this album, I find myself revisiting it because of my past satisfaction with it.

No Doubt featuring Busy Signal and Major Lazer: Push and Shove

I just finished listening to the song Push and Shove on my Discman. I know that sounds old-fashioned, however CD quality is so much better than MP3 quality and since I have been waiting over a Decade for this album, what better choice than to get it on Compact Disc.

Daft Punk: Derezzed

I finally did it. I got the Tron:Legacy soundtrack on CD. It includes the smash hit Derezzed and even though I would still love to have the movie on Blu-ray disc like I use to, I can settle for the soundtrack. I have never owned the soundtrack so this will be a treat considering that the music was the best part of the movie.

Daft Punk: Digital Love

Digital Love was released as the third single from Discovery and is the album's third track on its list. It's a fairly good track, but I prefer the following and preceding single. Those would be Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger and Aerodynamic, respectively speaking. However Digital Love is pretty interesting as well. But I generally skip over it these days to get to Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger more quickly.

Daft Punk: Crescendolls

Crescendolls is a great track. It was not released as a single from Discovery but it is good none the less and follows the fourth single released from Discovery on its track list so it's more like a continuation of singles being released rather than not. In my opinion, the fifth single released from Discovery is more absent from the album than Crescendolls.

Daft Punk: Aerodynamic

Aerodynamic serves as a great follow up single to One More time, the lead single from Discovery. Discovery was released as the second Studio album from Daft Punk in 2001. It followed their massively successful debut album in 1997, Homework. It was a while in the making but worth the wait. Discovery is Daft Punk's best work in my opinion.

Tiësto: Carpe Noctum (DJ Preach remix)

I am excited to hear the DJ Preach remix of Carpe Noctum, available on Elements of Life (remixed). It was released by Tiesto in 2008 and features two other versions of Carpe Noctum that I have not previously heard. Whereas I own the Spencer & Hill dub on another compilation album of Tiesto's.

Tiësto: Carpe Noctum (Fire Element mix)

So far I am finding it difficult to break in the remix album of Elements of Life. I am being distracted by two remixes of Carpe Noctum, the DJ Preach remix and the Fire Element mix. I previously wrote about the DJ Preach remix before listening to it because I had a feeling it would be good. The Fire Element mix is also good, but I do prefer the DJ Preach remix the most.

Daft Punk: Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger

Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger is such a good track. It always reminds me of Boom Boom Pow, by the Black Eyed Peas and I like that. As far as I know they sampled a line from that song in Boom Boom Pow, where they basically say Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. It's great and so having bought that album years ago, The E.N.D. I would have to say that since I just purchased Discovery, that I what I did was a genius idea; buying Discovery after The E.N.D.

Madonna: Celebration

The Music video for Celebration is sick even though I am tired of it.  But that's its effect.  I often think about Europe when I hear this song because Madonna talks about coming over and she lives in Europe.

Madonna: Hollywood

It's so crazy because I have been blogging about Bollywood like crazy and going back to watch the Music video for Hollywood recorded by Madonna is a very strange experience.

Madonna: American Pie

American Pie is a great song sung by Madonna.  I don't like the other versions but hers is pretty entertaining.  The Music video is also a great accompaniment to the song.

Madonna: The Beast Within

I just finished The Beast Within recorded outtake which is included with the Documentary entitled I'm going to tell you a Secret and that always excites me.  In it Madonna is reading from the Book of Revelation and that is my favorite book in the Bible.

Madonna: Erotica

The Live performance of Erotica from The Confessions Tour DVD is exciting.  This song as a live performance is also included on the Compact Disc that accompanies this tour as a combo pak on Disc.

Madonna: Live to Tell

Now I am watching the Live performance of Live to Tell from The Confessions Tour where Madonna hangs herself on a Cross and that excites me because it's exciting.

Madonna: Future Lovers/I feel love

I am just watching the live performance of Future Lovers/I Feel Love from The Confessions Tour DVD and it's exciting.  I am trying to take a little break from Madonna until 2013 but it's difficult.

Tron: Legacy

Some of the tracks on the Tron:Legacy soundtrack album seem promising. I shouldn't say that because I know they are. But I have yet to hear them on Compact Disc, so it actually should be more exciting, not less. There are 22 tracks, although I would assume that most of them are short, given Derezzed's length.

Daft Punk: Fall

The track entitled Fall on the Tron:Legacy soundtrack is short but sweet. Listed is the track following the lead single from the album, it's a great spot for the track I am referring to as it picks up off of the lead single's energy, that single is Derezzed.

Daft Punk: Flynn lives

The track entitled Flynn Lives from the Tron:Legacy soundtrack is great. It is very reminiscent of an earlier track on the album and also has a similar theme. The theme is Flynn as the first track I was referring to is entitled The Son of Flynn and this is Flynn Lives.

Daft Punk: Recognizer

Some of the tracks on the Tron:Legacy soundtrack are pretty exciting. Since they were all produced by Daft Punk, I have a hard time not liking them. The track I am currently listening to is entitled Recognizer and it is very energetic with some great orchestral electronic beats.

Daft Punk: End of Line

The track preceding Derezzed on the Tron:Legacy soundtrack is great. Entitled 'End of Line' it definitely feeds into the energy Derezzed creates which is quite high strung as the lead single from the album.

Daft Punk: The son of Flynn

The track entitled The son of Flynn is pretty exciting. It is included as the third track on the soundtrack album Tron:Legacy and I remember it vividly from when I watched the movie.

Tiësto: Elements of life (Alex Kunnari remix)

The Alex Kunnari remix of Elements of Life is pretty intense. I am used to the Radio edit live from Copenhagen and even though that particular version is very exciting, it's not nearly as long and the Alex Kunnari remix is a little more exciting.

Tiësto & Dyro: Paradise

The first track included on Club Life Vol3 Stockholm is a pretty interesting number. Produced by Tiesto & Dyro, it provides a good warm up to the rest of the album. However by the time I am ready to workout, for example, I skip right to the high intensity tracks which are the last four; Century, Shocker, Back to the acid and United.

Janet Jackson: Together again

Together again was released as the first official single from The Velvet Rope. The Velvet Rope was released as Janet Jackson's sixth Studio album and it followed her fifth which was her best-selling Studio album. I say the first official single from The Velvet Rope as there was an unofficial or international single that preceded it.

Alesso vs. One Republic: If I lose myself

The track entitled If I lose myself on Club Life Vol3 Stockholm, is a pretty decent track. It's produced by Alesso and One Republic makes an appearance on it vocally, as far as Ryan Tedder goes. He has also work with Far East Movement so I am quite familiar with his work. However the DJ named Alesso is from the Member state of Sweden as far as the European Union is concerned.

Tiësto & Calvin Harris: Century (Tiësto & Moska remix)

Century is a track included on Club Life Vol3 Stockholm. Club Life Vol3 is an album that was recorded in Stockholm. Century is produced by famed DJs, Tiesto & Calvin Harris. Calvin Harris has worked with the likes of Rihanna and Tiesto has mixed for Katy Perry and Britney Spears; Tiesto from the Netherlands and Calvin Harris from the UK.

Tiësto, Quintino & Alvaro: United (Tiësto & Blasterjaxx remix)

The last track included on Club Life Vol3 Stockholm is a pretty exciting track. It's entitled United and since Club Life Vol3 takes place in Stockholm, or is heavily influenced by such city, I would have to say that the track entitled United and the album on which it is from serves as a great advertisement for the European Union.

Janet Jackson featuring Q-tip and Joni Mitchell: Got ‘til it’s gone

Got 'til It's gone was released as the first single from The Velvet Rope. That is a reference to the international release of it as it was not officially released as a single in the United States of America. That market, is key in the Music industry and so artists often release a single internationally instead, if they would like to wet the public's appetite; for example.

Hardwell featuring Amba Shepherd: Apollo (Hardwell’s club life edit)

Apollo, the track included on Club Life Vol3 Stockholm is an amazing track. Apollo is the Greek name for the planet Mercury. Astrologically speaking, the planet Mercury is my detriment considering my ruling planet is Jupiter as a Sagittarius.

Tiësto: Louder than Boom

Louder than Boom is a great song or track; however you would like to label it. I like to call it a track because there are no lyrics and even when there are lyrics to an Electronic song; it is hardly your average song. So Electronic songs are always tracks in my mind and this song is no different and what a great track it is.

Tiësto: Ten seconds before sunrise

Ten seconds before sunrise is a pretty good track. It's nice and long and I like that. But it takes a while to get going and once it is going, it's not as exciting as you would otherwise anticipate it being.

Tiësto: Carpe Noctum (Spencer & Hill dub)

Sitting on the bus listening to Carpe Noctum. It was pretty exciting. It was the Spencer & Hill dub and dubs always impress me so it is no wonder that I was enjoying it.

Tiësto: Elements of Life (Radio edit live from Copenhagen)

Elements of Life is an amazing track. I am referring to the Radio edit live from Copenhagen that I own on Compact Disc. The disc is entitled Magikal Journey: The Hits Collection 1998-2008 and the track I am referring to is available on Disc 2 of the two-disc set that encompasses this Compilation album. Copenhagen is the capital city of one of the most prominent Member States of the European Union. That Member state is Denmark and it was part of the first expansion of the EU to accede into it. Acceding is when you become a full Member state of the EU.

Tiësto: Goldrush

Goldrush is sick. It is the tenth track on Disc 1 of Tiësto’s two disc Compilation album entitled Magikal Journey: The Hits Collection 1998-2008.

Tiësto: Traffic

I just finished listening to Traffic and it was pretty good. This time I listened to it through my stereo at home and so that was exciting because I hardly listen to the CD on which it's from at home on my stereo because I tend to review Tiësto’s music while I am working out because it is so motivational. Traffic is the fifth track on Tiësto’s Compilation album entitled Magikal Journey: The Hits Collection 1998-2008.

Tiësto: Lethal Industry

Lethal Industry is a wicked track. I thoroughly enjoy it and enjoyed it so much this most recent time around, that I listened to it twice in a row. It is very Industrial and I like that as a characteristic in an Electronic track. Lethal Industry is the third track on Tiësto’s most amazing Compilation album, in my opinion, entitled Magikal Journey: The Hits Collection 1998-2008.

Madonna: Best Friend

I just finished listening to Best Friend and it is a pretty amazing song after all.  I am not surprised since it is co-produced by Benny Benassi who is a favorite DJ of mine.  I actually prefer his work to a lot of other DJs out there and I am glad that Madonna chose to work with him so much on her current album.  That album would be MDNA and it is Madonna's twelfth Studio album just released this year on her new label, Interscope.  That is crazy in and of itself since Interscope features some very important artists who I love and support.

Madonna: Beautiful Killer

I am just listening to Beautiful Killer yet again and it is literally one of the best songs I have ever heard.  It is very well-written and I love the production behind the lyrics.  The beat is fantastic and so therefore I highly recommend the Deluxe edition of MDNA because it is only included in that edition.  I decided a long time ago to get that edition as I also decided to switch back to buying Compact Discs with the anticipated release of this album.  I wanted extreme clarity with the release of this album and I received it.  MDNA is quite literally my favorite Madonna album ever.

Madonna: I’m a sinner

I'm a sinner is such a great song.  I am kind of growing tired of it but it still keeps me happy to listen to it.  It appears as the ninth track on Madonna's most recent album entitled MDNA but that shouldn't stop you from skipping some of the more unimportant songs on the album, in my opinion.

Madonna: Turn up the radio

Turn up the radio was the third single released from MDNA. That was the name of Madonna's twelfth and one of her more significant Studio albums in recent history. MDNA represented her first release after her departure from Warner Bros. records. Not only that, but between the release of her eleventh Studio album and MDNA, there was an approximate four year wait; whereas she had not done that since the beginning of her career until then.

Madonna: Girl gone wild

Girl gone wild is an amazing song.  I love the lyrics and even though it is extremely controversial, I still enjoy it.  I am a diehard Madonna fan so it takes more than a little controversy to scare me off.  I became a fan at the height of her controversy, the Erotica era.  In fact, to this day, the song Erotica is still one of my favorite Madonna songs; which makes me like Girl gone wild even more as Madonna uses the word Erotic, in the song.

Madonna: I’m addicted

I'm addicted is a great song. I thoroughly enjoy it and love the references to both MDMA & MDNA. I know that sounds horrible but I used to be an E-head and MDNA is obviously a pseudonym for Madonna, who obviously named her most recent album the same thing. MDNA also stands for Mitochondrial Deoxyribonucleic acid, although I am sure that didn't cross her mind even though it might have now that I think of it.

Madonna: The Beast Within

I just finished listening to The Beast Within again and although I did not plan on including this song on my Playlist, I can't resist.  It's so good that I keep listening to it and Blogging about it.  It doesn't really fit into the theme of my current Playlists featuring Madonna; however it's always good to have a little ominous note on my happy go lucky Madonna (MDNA) Playlists.

Steve Angello: Knas

The song entitled Knas appears on Swedish House Mafia's first Compilation album entitled Until One. Knas is produced by Steve Angello; he is a member of Swedish House Mafia even though he was born in Greece. His origin is in Sweden, so that is most likely why he became a part of the group.

Daft Punk: One more time

One more time appears as the 22nd track on Until One. Until One is Swedish House Mafia's first Compilation or Studio album. It was released prior to Until Now, which is their second Compilation album. I bought Until Now before Until One but Until One is good none the less.

Janet Jackson: All nite(don't stop)

All nite(don't stop) was released as the third single from Damita Jo. Damita Jo was released as the eighth Studio album by Janet Jackson. 20 Y.O. was released following that, her ninth Studio album and then her tenth Studio album was released entitled Discipline. She has not released a Studio album since then and that was in 2008. However she released four that decade so she is obviously taking a break.

Swedish House Mafia: Miami 2 Ibiza (Instrumental)

The instrumental of Miami 2 Ibiza is pretty exciting. It follows the original version of Miami 2 Ibiza on Until One and how it is mixed of the album; there is no break between the tracks so it gives the auditory illusion of being one track. That is the original version of Miami 2 Ibiza and the instrumental.

Swedish House Mafia: Save the World (Zedd Remix)

The Zedd remix of Save the world is very exciting, now that I have taken a huge break from it and have enjoyed another remix of it for so long. The remix that I was most recently enjoying is from Swedish House Mafia's second compilation album that I just bought. The Zedd remix is a remix that I bought in 2011 and is not as new to me.

Sebastian Ingrosso & Dirty South/Coldplay: Meich/Clocks

The track entitled Meich/Clocks from Until One is very interesting. The song Clocks is by Coldplay, a group hailing from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland. They subsequently appeared on Until Now by Swedish House Mafia and Meich is produced by Sebastian Ingrosso & Dirty South. Sebastian Ingrosso is a member of Swedish House Mafia, one of two hailing from Sweden.

Coldplay vs. Swedish House Mafia: Every teardrop is a waterfall

Every teardrop is a waterfall is the eighth track on Until Now. It is labeled as Coldplay vs. Swedish House Mafia as it is originally a Coldplay song. They hail from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, whereas Swedish House Mafia is based in Sweden. Two of the three DJs from the Mafia are from Sweden and the other is from Greece. The UK, Greece and Sweden are all Member states in the European Union.

Daft Punk: Motherboard

Motherboard is the tenth track included on Random Access Memories. I love the computer terms associated with this album. Random Access Memory or RAM is computer talk for Memory basically, although there is another prominent type of memory and that would be ROM, such as a CD-ROM or DVD-ROM. Those two types of memory are the most prominent when it comes to computer lingo.

Coldplay: Paradise (Tiësto remix)

Paradise, the second single released by Coldplay from their Mylo Xyloto album, appears on Tiesto's Club Life Vol2 Miami compilation album as a remix produced by him. That's a mouthful so to put it simply, the Tiesto remix of Paradise is a great track found on Club Life Vol2. That album is based out of Miami and there are some pretty exciting tracks on the album.

Tiësto: Maximal Crazy (original mix)

Maximal Crazy was released as the lead single from Club Life Vol2 and appears as the last track on that album. It's a great number and I highly recommend it. I usually gravitate towards it immediately but I hate bypassing the entire album to get to it so I try to take my time. But it's that good.

Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams: Get Lucky

Get Lucky was released as the lead single from Daft Punk's fourth Studio album entitled Random Access Memories. That track features rapper and producer Pharrell Williams who just so happens to be singing on this number. I was actually just watching a video last night in which he appears entitled Drop it like it's hot by Snoop Dogg, what a hit.

Tiësto & Calvin Harris: Century (Tiësto & Moska remix)

Century is my favorite track on Club Life Vol3 Stockholm. It's a great little track actually and it makes me feel on top of the world at times. Mixed or produced by Tiesto and Calvin Harris, it blows me away. Calvin Harris is one of the best DJs in the biz right now and Tiesto is a classic ranging all the way back from the early 2000s when I first heard of him.

Daft Punk featuring Pharrell Williams: Lose yourself to dance

Lose yourself to dance featuring Pharrell Williams is a pretty nice track. So Random Access Memories comes with the lyrics, I just discovered that. It is also the fourth Studio album released by Daft Punk, on which Lose yourself to dance appears. Wow, I am very impressed with the caliber of this album. However Daft Punk is based out of the second largest economy in the Euro zone.

Coldplay vs. Swedish House Mafia: Every teardrop is a waterfall

Every teardrop is a waterfall was released as the lead single from Mylo Xyloto. That was the name of the fifth Studio album released by Coldplay. A version of this song appears on Swedish House Mafia's second Compilation album entitled Until Now, where the song is listed as being mixed by them. So, for example, it lists as the artist and I quote 'Coldplay vs. Swedish House Mafia'. It's a great way to introduce yourself to Coldplay, if you have not yet already.

Britney Spears: Till the World Ends

Till the World Ends is one of the most amazing Britney Spears songs ever.  It appears on her most recent album which I do not own; however I have downloaded, legally, most if not all of the singles released from it.  That would be Hold it against me, Till the World Ends, I Wanna Go and Criminal.  The rest of the singles are pretty weak, but Till the World Ends definitely holds up in this climate, written shortly after the three month mark preceding the date that appears in the Music video as the potential end of the world.

Britney Spears: Toy Soldier

Toy Soldier was not released as an official single to Blackout, nor was it released as a promotional single.  However it is the most well-written song on the album aside from the singles that were released from it.  It appears as the eighth track on the Compact Disc or Studio album, however I prefer the Compact Disc as opposed to the Studio album on MP3 because Compact Disc quality is superior to MP3 in my opinion.

Britney Spears: Piece of Me

Piece of Me was released as the second single from Blackout. It surprises me that I am talking about Piece of Me at this point in my life. It is so five years ago when I used to listen to this song. However I have often returned to it, as late as this year, 2013.

Britney Spears: Gimme More

I can’t seem to stop listening to Gimme More, even after all of these years.  It is actually Britney Spears’ best song in my opinion as it is the most well-produced and the most well-written song of her career.  Of course I am referring to my opinion only, however I have become somewhat of an expert on these matters, considering my vast knowledge of music and of course my catalogue, which is expansive.

Britney Spears: Toxic

Toxic was a great hit for Britney. I hear that Britney is coming out with a new album by the end of 2013 and that will be exciting. I have often followed her career as opposed to Lady GaGa's as Madonna doesn't seem to have as much of a problem with her compared to Lady GaGa. I always side with the queen. It would be treason otherwise. Britney Spears is definitely someone Madonna has embraced.

Britney Spears featuring Madonna: Me Against the Music

I just finished listening to Me Against the Music and I must say since this song features Madonna that I am completely in love with it.  It is most likely the best song Madonna has ever done as a featured artist.  Britney Spears herself has had and done better songs.  But as far as Madonna goes, she completely dominates this song and that is once again, most likely why it is such a good song for Madonna.

Britney Spears: Oops!... I did it again

I just finished listening to Oops!... I did it again and it was pretty amazing.  I love making people think I like them and then turning on them, it’s the best.  This song definitely reflects that as it speaks about losing all of your senses and making someone believe you like them, when in fact you hate them.  I like to use people to my advantage but I never let them get away with thinking they have control over me therefore.  That’s silly and so I use this song, in particular, to remind them of that.
