Grey's Anatomy
I just finished season two of Grey's Anatomy and it was absolutely amazing. There were about three times as many episodes as season one but that was because Grey's Anatomy was a replacement show halfway through the regular television season. None the less season one was amazing, and season two was ever better. I just purchased season three on DVD and I am very much looking forward to starting that in a day or two. I love buying television shows on DVD and Grey's Anatomy has definitely lived up to the hype surrounding the show which is in its seventh season and season six was just released on DVD.
Transformers
The film Transformers is an awesome movie. Unfortunately I have seen it so many times that I am losing interest in it. However I am looking forward to the third and final installment of the trilogy. It is kind of like Lord of the Rings, but not as good. It is still worth the purchase and watch though. I enjoyed the second more than the first, and I am more than likely going to enjoy the third more than the second. Overall I would have to say that this film is like a 7 out of 10 for action sequences. Overall the storyline is more like a 6 out of 10. But who watches Transformers for the story. I find this film is one of the best films out there.
Earth 2
Earth 2 was an amazing show at the time. I just finished the series, which was unfortunately only a season long, but none the less was a great show. The show debuted in 1994 and was a great show at the time, but a little ahead of itself in terms of science fiction. The only drawback to the show was the fact that it had a bad time slot and was often preempted due to other events, like sports. I enjoyed the show for a long time and I just finished watching it again for the umpteenth time, even though at this point it bores me to tears because it is so dry. It is not up to today's standards, but at the time was an excellent show. I recommend it to anyone who is remotely interested in science fiction.

Prince of Persia
Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time is an amazing film. It is set in the ancient time of the Persian Empire and is a glorious adaptation of what life was really like back then. Of course it is not as good as its predecessor, but none the less is a great watch and I am referring to Alice in Wonderland when I talk of its predecessor. I just wasn't as amazed when I saw Prince of Persia, because the characters are not as magical nor are they as well know. I grew up with Alice in Wonderland, and I grew very fond of the characters in the film and little did I know that Prince of Persia even existed beyond a video game. None the less, like I have said, it is worth the watch, and I recommend it to all. I love this film along with almost every other film that Disney puts out.

Katy Perry
Teenage Dream is one of the best albums of the year if not the best, in my opinion, seeing as none other comes to mind. Of course there are those who will say that the Fame Monster was the best, but that was released last year, and Katy Perry's album was one of the most anticipated albums of this year, if not decade. It is truly amazing, and I recommend it to all. Teenage Dream, the song, is probably the best song of the year, and I am sure the rest of the album is amazing as well, but I have not heard the entire thing yet. I am waiting for some new songs to be released so I can review them and see what I think. None the less, Teenage Dream is an amazing album and one of the best this decade.
Desperate Housewives
Season three of Desperate Housewives was pretty exciting but not as exciting as season two. I enjoyed season two the most, and probably will have enjoyed it the most, even when I am done the entire series. I am in no rush to purchase season four because I have been disappointed with season three, but I will at some point. Season six was just released this month on dvd and that should be exciting, seeing as I have already caught some of the episodes on television. I enjoy watching shows on dvd because there are no commercials and it is better quality. I will let you know how the other seasons turn out.

M.I.A.
M.I.A. has really made an outstanding album with her most recent contribution. I have downloaded the first five singles from the album, and am absolutely impressed and amazed. I fell in love with M.I.A. a long time ago, but really began to appreciate her music around the same time that Slumdog Millionaire was in the theatre, in which she was featured. Her runaway hit Paper Planes has not been topped but none the less, this album is worth the buy because it features underground hits that are absolutely amazing.
The Simple Life
The Simple Life is one of the funniest reality shows I have ever seen. That is if you can appreciate the sense of humor Nicole and Paris have. Nicole Richie has got to be one of the funniest people I have ever seen, and Paris is not far behind. Of course Paris Hilton is amazing for other reasons as well, but you have got to admit that this dynamic duo is some of the best modern pop culture has to offer. I am so impressed with their reality show that I have watched the entire series three times and I have wrote about it the same amount. If anyone out there is dying for a good laugh, then I highly recommend this show, as it is sure to please and not to disappoint.
Christina Aguilera
Christina Aguilera is an outstanding artist from the early part of the twenty first century. Unfortunately she is fading quickly as other more well known artists rise to fame, such as Lady GaGa, Katy Perry, and Ke$ha. I find those three artists are a more modern group, and Christina Aguilera is more of a Britney Spears kind of artist, who is unfortunately from around the turn of the century where everything was more about pop and Mickey Mouse kind of talent. It is not like there is anything wrong with that, but I prefer to stay current and the fact remains that Lady GaGa and Katy Perry, are more relevant, now, and Ke$ha is even more relevant. We have all had our time and will continue to have our time, but if you are looking for something red hot, then I recommend something a little more mainstream like the famous three I mentioned and less of the former princesses of pop.
Ugly Betty
Ugly Betty is just yet another show in the stellar ABC lineup. I have so many shows now on DVD that are from ABC it is not even funny. Season three of Ugly Betty is just yet another season that is packed with excitement and warming up to the season finale and final season of Ugly Betty, which is season four. I love the outtakes of it and it really is an amazingly colorful show. I recommend it to anyone in any family as it truly is a mostly family orientated show. ABC has some other amazing shows as well, including, but not limited to lost, desperate housewives, and grey's anatomy.

Mike Posner
Mike Posner and Enrique Iglesias have the best songs of the summer with Cooler than me, and I like it, respectively speaking of course. Mike Posner just appeared on the scene so his song is a little more fresh but none the less, Enrique has an amazing, upbeat track with I like it. Cooler than me reached an astounding number six on the Billboard Hot 100 but I like it reached an even more outstanding number four. Of course some might argue that Love the way you lie was the summer break away hit but when you are looking for a song of the summer it is usually a hit played in the club. And I doubt that any got to dance much to Love the way you lie.
Zodiac
Zodiac is one of the best films I have ever seen. It is a little dark in some spots, but none the less is a good watch even though it is super long. It is about the same length as Avatar, so if you are in the mood for a good night's sit in front of the television, then I highly recommend it. It has some of the best actors in the biz and Jake Gyllenhaal is exceptionally well composed after his oscar nominated performance in Brokeback Mountain. The film itself has a great story line and is actually based on a true story. The story of the Zodiac still lives on today.

Enrique Iglesias
Enrique Iglesias probably has the best summer song this year, in I like it. I like it is one of the best songs I have ever heard, and with the drop back of jersey shore in the background of the video, well how can you go wrong. His signing with Universal Republic has probably been the best career move he has ever made. With over 55 million albums sold, Enrique Iglesias is a force to be reckoned with. I like it has made it to number four on the Billboard Hot 100 and is holding on to that hot spot. There are a few others in the way of him achieving another number one hit, but he might be able to pull it off by the end of summer. Otherwise it will continue to remain one hot top ten hit of the summer. With his cross over effect from Spanish to English, he has made a great career out of his love for music. At first he was not taken seriously, but with his latest attempt at number one he has shown that he has staying power.
300
300 is still one of the best movies I have ever seen. It has amazing action sequences and set a standard for just such thing. I am watching another show that uses just such action sequences. It is not a well known show but none the less, has outstanding action sequences. The film itself uses these sequences and many other graphical effects to tie you in to the history of the film. The Spartans were an amazing bunch and to anyone who has a bloodline dating back to that, well you have some amazing characters in your heritage. I for one have Greek blood in my veins but unsure whether it be Spartan blood or Athenian.
