Madonna: Rain

Rain was released as the fourth and final single from the album entitled Erotica in the United States of America.  That album spawned two other singles that were released internationally. But for all intense purposes, there were only four singles and they were in order of release; Erotica, Deeper and Deeper, Bad Girl and Rain.

Madonna: Erotica

Erotica was released as the lead single from the album of the same name.  It was a precarious time back in 1992. Madonna had just released her most successful Greatest hits album two years prior to that and had received her first ban with the Music video for Justify my Love succumbing to it.  None the less she continued on and even though the second video released after that ban was banned as well, she has gone on to release multiple Studio albums since; in fact she just released her twelfth in 2012.

Madonna: Hollywood

Hollywood was released as the second single from the album entitled American Life.  That album was Madonna's ninth Studio album and it also contained the song and lead single of the same name.  The song American life is a great one and so is the Music video for Hollywood, just for a side note.  The Music video for Hollywood serves as an inspiration to me because it talks about the children of the light, for example. You can't get much brighter than Hollywood, the community!

Madonna: I'm addicted

I'm addicted is the third track included on Madonna's twelfth Studio album.  That album is entitled MDNA and it's a great one. I am still listening to it a year later without much of a break in between. I love the beats in the songs and the lyrics are pretty profound even though this is one of Madonna's more lighthearted albums.

Madonna: American Life

The song entitled American Life was released as the lead single from the album of the same name.  Keeping in mind that it was released shortly after 9/11 in the spring of 2003 when things were heating up in the Middle East after the war on terror began. Iraq had just been invaded and unfortunately the death toll had not reached its climax although people tend to forget these facts when the economy is not Booming.  Lest we forget that it was booming preceding 9/11. How tragic to repeat the mistakes of the past.

Madonna: Girl gone wild

Girl gone wild was the second official single released from Madonna's twelfth Studio album entitled MDNA.  There were three singles released from MDNA in the United States of America and one in Brazil.  That single was Superstar and the other three released in chronological order were Give me all of your luvin', Girl gone wild and Turn up the radio.

Madonna: Bedtime Story

Bedtime Story was released as the third single from the album of a similar name. That album is entitled Bedtime Stories and it was Madonna's sixth, having released one two years prior to that.  She then went on a dry spell for many years until the release of her seventh Studio album in 1998.  In fact she was on a dry spell preceding those two albums, her fifth and sixth, considering her fourth Studio album was released in 1989.

deadmau5: Take care of the proper paperwork

Now I can't stop listening to Take care of the proper paperwork. It's that exciting. I love the Industrial effects it has. It makes me feel like I am working in a Factory when really all I am doing is sitting here pressing buttons. It is extremely Industrial and Factoral like. There is hardly a beat but yet so many sounds that are reminiscent of the Industrial revolution.

deadmau5: Maths

Maths is a great track. I just started listening to it again after taking a break from it and it was refreshing to hear. I included that song, Superliminal and Take care of the proper paperwork in a recent Playlist and I am still listening to it because it is that exciting.

deadmau5: Superliminal

Superliminal is a great track. It is the first track included on deadmau5's sixth Studio album entitled >album title goes here<. It is a great first track and I highly recommend it. It is part of a great Playlist I have going on where that, Maths and Take care of the proper paperwork are included.  It is actually the first song I chose to listen to and Blog about from this album because it is so good.

No Doubt featuring Busy Signal and Major Lazer: Push and Shove

I just finished listening to Push and Shove again and it was amazing.  I am going to the Library right now to watch the Music video on No Doubt's YouTube channel so that should be exciting.  It is their official channel and it is entitled NoDoubtVEVO.

No Doubt: Looking Hot

I am still waiting for the re-release of Looking Hot, the Music video that is.  It has been two months since the original release and pull but I guess they wanted to wait until after Christmas considering how much effort they put into it and what goes on at Christmas.  Anyhow I am looking forward to it with great anticipation and above and beyond that, it is the one Music video in all of History that I have been this excited to see.

No Doubt: Settle Down

I am still impressed with the Music video for Settle Down almost a year later.  That’s a little bit of a stretch, but I was living somewhere completely different when it was released and it’s 2013 now.  2013 is weird to say after 2012, but it just goes to show No Doubt’s power.  No one else has ever done that for me I think.  Not even Madonna, anytime in recent memory.

Pharrell featuring Gwen Stefani: Can I Have It Like That

I just finished watching the Music video for Can I Have It Like That and it was pretty exciting.  Of course this song features Gwen Stefani and that was the seller for having only downloaded it this year, 2012.  It was released in 2005 but with the long awaited release of Push and Shove in 2012, I was super inspired to purchase more Gwen Stefani-related material.

T.I.: Cruisin’

Cruisin' is a whack song. I love it, it reminds me of Whatever you like from T.I.'s sixth Studio album entitled Paper Trail. That single was released as the lead single to Paper Trail and for good reason.  Whatever you like is a very well-written song and Cruisin' is just the same although a little different.  It's not as well-written but it is still included on one of T.I.'s best Studio albums, if not the best.

T.I.: Go get it

Go get it is a great track. I love listening to it at a high level which means the volume is fairly loud when I listen to it because that is the best. Hip hop is so good to listen to with lots of bass and my stereo has a Subwoofer so that excites me beyond compare. Of course other people may not agree with my excitement considering I live in an apartment building and the lyrics are explicit. But I am such a huge T.I. fan that it doesn't bother me; he is the King.

T.I.: Why you wanna

Why you wanna was released as the second official single from T.I.’s fourth Studio album entitled King, from 2006.  I can remember that this is the song that caught my eye when it came to T.I. because it samples a song I am very familiar with entitled Gypsy Woman (She’s homeless) released by Crystal Waters.  That’s weird for me to even say let along hear as in the song.  Gypsy Woman is so far from the scope of T.I. especially these days that it would be weird if they ever met, if they haven’t already.

T.I.: The way we ride

The way we ride is a pretty good track. In fact I highly recommend it. It appears as the tenth track on Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head, T.I.'s eighth Studio album; an album I highly recommend. As I said, I also highly recommend the song or track entitled The way we ride, but the album as a whole is great as well. Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head is one of T.I.'s best. Even though I have yet to hear his entire catalogue.

T.I.: Trap back Jumpin

I just finished listening to Trap back jumpin and it was pretty exciting. Not only that but I just watched the Music video for that song and that was great. It's actually a short film and I highly recommend it.  It can be found on T.I.'s official YouTube channel entitled TIvsTIP. It's a great channel and I highly recommend that as well, so much so that it was one of the first channels I subscribed to on YouTube and I am still subscribed to it years later. It's a great channel like I said with loads of content.

T.I. featuring Meek Mill: G season

G season is a pretty good track. I am getting tired of it, only because it is so good that I find myself listening to it over and over. It features Meek Mill who is pretty outstanding but the star of the show is T.I. because he raps like no other. I highly recommend his material and even though this particular song is extremely explicit, it is honestly one of the best on the album; Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head.

T.I. featuring Rihanna: Live your life

The Music video for Live your life is wild.  Featuring Rihanna, it blows me away that she has released seven Studio albums in seven years.  I am not aware of anyone else on Earth who has ever done that, including but not limited to Madonna and Mariah Carey.  However I am not blogging about that even though this video very prominently features Rihanna and even having said that I still prefer T.I.’s part which is actually really crazy because they are both so good.

Tiësto: Louder than Boom

I am listening to Louder than Boom, mixed by Tiësto, otherwise known as DJ Tiësto.  DJ Tiësto is from the Benelux region of Europe or the European Union as I like to call it.  The Benelux member states of the European Union make up the richest part of the European Union, in my opinion.  Those countries or Member states are Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.

Tiësto: Goldrush

Goldrush is crazy sick. It's not even just sick, it's crazy sick. Talk about European and 21st Century.  This song is so Modern that I can barely listen to it without thinking that I shouldn't be listening to it because it is so ahead of its time. It's like me, ahead of everything.

Tiësto: Lethal Industry

Lethal Industry is a great song. I highly recommend it because it is a very electronically inspired Industrial song. It is actually a track in my mind but since people are not used to hearing that word, I will say song I say track because Electronic songs are hardly songs even when there are lyrics, however Lethal Industry has no lyrics and in my opinion that is one of its best attributes.

Tiësto: Traffic

Traffic is the fifth track included on Magikal Journey: The Hits Collection 1998-2008 Disc 1.  It's a great track and I love to listen to it while I am in the midst of Traffic. It just seems to go well with that sort of activity.

Tiësto: Ten seconds before sunrise

I am just listening to Ten seconds before sunrise which is found on Tiësto’s most prominent Greatest hits album, in my opinion. It is actually labelled as a Compilation album on Wikipedia however I am not sure how accurate that is. It is more like a Greatest hits album and it is entitled Magikal Journey: The Hits Collection 1998-2008.

Tiësto: Carpe Noctum (Spencer & Hill dub)

Now it's the Spencer & Hill dub of Carpe Noctum. I am tired though so I am going to bed.  I would rather wake up tomorrow and listen to this while I am working out.

Tiësto: Adagio for Strings

I am just listening to Adagio for Strings and it is pretty exciting because I am on a Ferry outside on the deck and the sun is shining.  That's always exciting, especially after just getting off of the bus with some fellow Muslims which felt like I was in the Middle East.

Janet Jackson: Make me

Make me was released from a Greatest hits album that Janet Jackson released after her tenth Studio album entitled Discipline. That album was so good that I decided to buy the deluxe edition which features a DVD with the Music video for Feedback on it. But that wasn't enough; I then went ahead and bought the Music video for Rock with U from iTunes. So even though I don't own it on DVD, I still own it on some format and I love that because it is not recorded and even though I now own a DVD recorded, MPEG is still better.

Janet Jackson: Feedback

Feedback was released as the lead single from the album entitled Discipline.  Discipline was released as Janet Jackson's tenth Studio album.  I am impressed with that fact. I had no idea that she had produced that many albums.  She is right up there with Madonna and Mariah Carey in my mind. In fact I rank her as third behind them only.

Janet Jackson: Rock with U

I was so impressed with Discipline that I bought the deluxe edition. But above and beyond that, after realizing that the deluxe edition came with the Music video for Feedback on DVD; I then went ahead and bought the Music video for Rock with U from iTunes.  It's not as easy as popping in a DVD but it does the trick on my BlackBerry PlayBook.

Janet Jackson: Together again

Apparently Together again was released as the first official single from The Velvet Rope, although I remember it differently. The Music video for Got 'til it's gone was released prior to the single aforementioned above and I also remember hearing Got 'til it's gone on the radio.  However I am a big fan of Big Yellow Taxi so therefore, a little biased. Big Yellow Taxi is sampled in Janet Jackson's rendition of that song. It isn't really a rendition but it definitely does sample Big Yellow Taxi.  Got 'til it's gone is a great song and so is Together again!

Janet Jackson: All nite(Don’t Stop)

The Music video for All nite(Don’t stop) can most prominently be found on EMI’s former YouTube channel entitled emimusic.  It’s former to me at least as I don’t have access to it, but that could be as a result of the country I live in, however I doubt it.  So having said that, you have to type in All nite and then look for emimusic as the channel listed to play it.  It is not available on JanetJacksonVEVO.

Janet Jackson featuring Khia: So excited (Bimbo Jones Club Mix)

The Bimbo Jones Club mix of So Excited featuring Khia is pretty good but I prefer the original version of So Excited, so much more. However, I own the original version on Compact disc and I only own the MP3 of the Club Mix aforementioned above. But I planned it that way because I don't feel very strongly towards this remix regardless of whether or not I own it on MP3 or Compact Disc.

Janet Jackson featuring Q-tip and Joni Mitchell: Got ‘til it’s gone

Got 'til it's gone was not actually released as an official single from The Velvet Rope but it it is good none the less. In fact it is so good that there is a Music video to accompany it and I highly recommend watching it. It's a little dark but Got 'til it's gone samples the hit song by Joni Mitchell entitled Big Yellow Taxi. Big Yellow Taxi is a great song and Got 'til it's gone is no different.

Madonna: Skin

Skin is the fifth track included on Madonna's seventh Studio album entitled Ray of light.  It wasn't released as a single but it is a very well-written song none the less.  The album Ray of light is a very well-written album overall.  I just received it on Compact disc this month and it is the first time I have ever owned it so I am somewhat excited. Above and beyond that, it is almost Easter Sunday and listening to Madonna at this time of year seems particularly exciting considering that the Blessed Virgin Mary is often referred to as The Madonna; so a Holy name as far as I am concerned.

Madonna: Music

The song and single entitled Music from the album of the same name was Madonna's first major release in the new Millennium. She released a single from a Soundtrack album prior to that at the very beginning of the new Millennium; however it wasn't as major as the single that followed it. Music is from her eight Studio album of the same name, referring to the song and single earlier in the sentence. The Music video for the song Music is a great one and serves as a throwback to some earlier material such as Express yourself.  She had done that before as well with the song and single entitled Deeper and Deeper.

Madonna: Secret

I was so excited when the lead single from the album entitled Bedtime Stories was released.  The single was entitled Secret and it was released about one month preceding the album aforementioned above.  It was a pretty exciting time for me back then considering that I had just begun my massive Madonna collection.  So any major release was very stimulating to my mind and Secret served as a great warm-up to an even greater album.  The album entitled Bedtime Stories is a very deep and spiritual album even though it contains segments which are dark and mysterious. However having been released six days preceding Halloween, that made it all the more exciting.

Madonna: Candy Shop

Candy Shop is the first track listed on Madonna's eleventh Studio album entitled Hard Candy.  Candy Shop served as opening number for the tour which was in support of the album on which it’s from.  That album is entitled Hard Candy as previously mentioned and the tour that was in support of Hard Candy was appropriately entitled the Sticky & Sweet tour. In the song entitled Candy Shop, Madonna refers to her sugar as raw, sticky and sweet. I love the lyrics to Candy Shop.

Madonna: Girl Gone wild

At the beginning of Girl gone wild, Madonna makes a reference to a song she included on the album entitled Like a prayer. That song is entitled Act of Contrition and in it Madonna asks the Almighty for forgiveness.  She says she is heartily sorry for having offended thee and I find that so funny coming from someone who shares the same name as what the Blessed Virgin Mary is sometimes referred to as in the Roman Catholic Church.  Not everyone finds it funny but I adore Madonna's sense of humor and think that she is one of the funniest people I know of.

Madonna: Human Nature

Human Nature was released as the fourth single from Bedtime Stories, the album.  When I say the album, I am referring to the fact that there is a song on the album entitled Bedtime Story and so there might be some discrepancy between the title of the song and the album.  However getting back to Human Nature; that song was in response to the backlash Madonna faced when she released the Music videos for Justify my Love and Erotica, for example but there was also a book entitled Sex.

Madonna: Candy Shop(live from Argentina)

The live version of Candy shop from the Sticky & Sweet tour on DVD and Compact disc is exciting.  Sticky & Sweet tour on DVD. Just as a side note; I am very much looking forward to getting Madonna's most recent tour on disc. However I plan on getting it released on Blu-ray disc as opposed to DVD because I now have a Blu-ray player whereas I only had a DVD player when the Sticky & Sweet tour was released on disc.

T.I.: Go get it

Go get it is a great song and the Music video is great as well. I keep watching the Music video even though I don't have time, but that's how good it is. T.I. is sporting a huge gold cross in the video and it is very reminiscent of what Madonna does in her videos which always impresses me.

T.I.: Trap back Jumpin

I just finished the promotional Music video for Trap back jumpin which is actually a short film as well and it is absolutely out of this world.  T.I. is seriously one of the best rappers I have ever heard, if not the best.  He has the best swagga, the hottest rhymes and the most dope videos.  His YouTube channel, TIvsTIP was one of the first official YouTube channels in circulation and honestly one of the first YouTube channels I subscribed to.  I haven’t looked back since, his music is sick.

T.I. featuring Lil Wayne: Ball

Ball featuring Lil Wayne is a pretty good song. Of course it appears on T.I.'s eighth Studio album entitled Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head but it failed to impress me like the lead single. Having said that, it was released as the follow-up single to that single and that single was Go get it. It's still a pretty good song but not as interesting as Go get it. It honestly didn't even cross my radar on its release but Go get it didn't really either.

T.I. featuring P!nk: Guns and Roses

Apparently Guns and Roses is not going to be the third official single from Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head, however T.I. stated that it will be released in the future.  I think it will do amazingly if he does release it as it is extremely mainstream and I think it is exactly what the Music industry needs right now in order to satisfy the general public.

T.I.: Like that

Like that was released as the fourth promotional single to Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head.  Like that is actually what sold the album for me although it is not included on the Compact Disc version of this album.  However I was so moved by the lyrics to this song that I went ahead and downloaded it as an MP3 from iTunes which really excited me, so much so that I downloaded the other song only available on iTunes entitled Love this life.

T.I.: The Introduction

The Introduction is a great track. Included as the first track on Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head for obvious reasons, it is a great way to warmup to the rest of the album.  Which is an amazing album; by the way.  Being T.I.'s eighth Studio album, it has extremely good content considering how long he has been at this.  Which is about a decade and with his time spent in prison, his creativity has only improved.

T.I. featuring Meek Mill: G season

G season is a great track. It is the second track on Trouble Man: Heavy is the Head and it is very exciting.  Meek Mill is a great rapper and he is featured on this song. I don't know who he is really as a rapper but he is good none the less. It is a little explicit it nature but I appreciate the explicissity because I am somewhat of a diehard fan for the explicit lyrics.

No Doubt: Settle Down

I am watching the Music video for Settle Down again because it is so amazing and I am so excited to get their new album on Compact Disc, entitled Push and Shove. It will literally be one of the most exciting moments of my life; considering I have been waiting since the release of their last Studio album entitled Rock Steady in 2001. That was an amazing album and this album is already shaping up to be better considering that the lead single from that album was weak whereas the lead single for this album aforementioned above, Settle Down, is one of No Doubt’s best songs ever.

No Doubt: Looking Hot

The first run through of Looking Hot was pretty good.  In fact it was so good that I decided to stop it about halfway through because I couldn't give it my full attention and I wanted to.  The beat is amazing and the Production quality is out of this world.  I waited so long for Push and Shove that I want every moment to be extraordinary and so I am milking every moment for what it is.

Gwen Stefani: What you waiting for?

What you waiting for? was released as the debut single by Gwen Stefani.  It was her first single as a solo artist departing from the massively successful, Platinum selling, rock band No Doubt.  I thought it was an amazing single and I still do to this day.

Gwen Stefani & Eve: Rich Girl

Rich Girl was released as the second single to Gwen Stefani’s debut Studio album as a Solo artist. It was fantastic to hear this song way back then and it still is. It features Eve and that is a very impressive quality for me as she is an amazing Rapper.

Gwen Stefani featuring Elan: Hollaback Girl (Dancehollaback Remix)

The Dancehollaback Remix of Hollaback Girl is pretty good.  I prefer the original of this song but I was desperate to hear the Jacques Lu Cont's TWD Mix of What you Waiting for? and back then I decided I would download the entire EP on which it’s from.

Eve featuring Gwen Stefani: Let me Blow ya Mind

Let me Blow ya Mind is an amazing track.  It is Eve’s track featuring Gwen Stefani and right now I am consuming her violently as she would put it.  Gwen Stefani is an amazing artist and even though she doesn’t own this particular song; Eve makes up for her lack of ownership even though it’s Eve’s song to begin with so it’s all good.

Moby: South Side

I couldn’t get my hands on the version of South Side featuring Gwen Stefani for some reason but I was so desperate to hear South Side again that I downloaded the original version.  I can actually hear Gwen Stefani if I listen closely enough as I distinctly remember her part on this song and the original is not very different than the version featuring her.

No Doubt: Settle Down

Settle Down is an amazing song.  I can’t stop Blogging about it and I can’t stop listening to it.  I am so obsessed with it that I haven’t even listened to any of the other songs from Push and Shove even though I have owned the Compact Disc for about a week now.  It’s that good and I highly recommend it.

No Doubt: New

New is another song I can’t stop Blogging about but it is mostly because I just got Push and Shove on Compact Disc and so as a result of my love for Settle Down above any other song on Push and Shove at this point; I am desperate for good No Doubt content and their old material provides that.  It’s not because their new material isn’t good, but I can’t wrap my mind around that right now with the amazement I feel for Settle Down.
