American pie was released at the cusp of the new Millennium, Century and decade. It was a very important decade in American history, considering what took place at the beginning of the decade on September 11th and how it ended; in the middle of one of the worst recessions in history entitled The Great Recession. It’s sad when those things happen but look for the rainbow in every storm. The rainbow for me was the European Union gaining precedence in the world.
