2012

Ok so 2012 was not the best movie I have ever seen, but it was one of the better ones I have ever seen, only because the special effects, were quite amazing, and since the plot sucked really bad, well I am only giving it four out five stars, because I was expecting a little bit better than that.  Because I heard about that year, so many times, before I actually went to the theatre to see it, and now that I have it on dvd, well I am that close to giving it away.  It's not one of the better movies I own, but I do recommend it, for a good watch, because the year 2012 might surprise us.

Janet

Janet Jackson has another amazing hit with Make Me.  And the Feedback remixes aren't bad either.  I downloaded all three featured items here, and I was only disappointed with the quality of So Excited, because it sounded kind of muffled. I will try better next time. I recommend this for any Janet fan as she always promises a good dance number, but it is a little stale if you are looking for something to blow you out of the water, like Feedback did way back in the day. I can't believe it has been two years since the inception of Feedback, but that's what you get, when you listen to such good music.

Ugly Betty

Ugly Betty is one of the best shows I have ever seen.  I chose to purchase it on DVD because it is so amazing.  The colorful set is exquisite and the modern architecture is one of the most amazing in Hollywood. The show has been cancelled in its fourth season, but that shouldn't stop you from purchasing it, or even starting to watch it, in its final season. There should be a few good episodes left, and if you are a late viewer like me, you will not be disappointed, as it promises to entice you to purchase the rest of the seasons while you wait for the fourth season to be released on DVD.

Canadiana - Karl Wolf / Danny Fernandes / Massari

I did a combination blog entry this time, in honor of our fellow Canadians, at the Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. We won the most gold medals that were ever won, by any other team, at the Winter Olympic Games, including the United States of America, and that is a considerable feat considering that they usually come in first in almost everything. So on to music. These artists are all Canadian and I decided to do a three way presentation because they are some of the best musicians in this country, and hardly ever get worldwide coverage.
