Jay Sean / Sean Paul

I did a combination blog entry this time because Sean Paul is featured on Jay Sean's album. I would have preferred to have downloaded the single to Down only because there are remixes available on that which are not available in my country. I guess I will have to move to the United States or the United Kingdom. So I decided to download the entire album of, All or Nothing, which is the debut album for Jay Sean over here in North America. Anyhow I really wanted the remix to Down, along with the song Do You Remember, as these are two of my favourite songs at the moment.

Slumdog Millionaire

Slumdog Millionaire was the best movie I saw in 2009 and the best movie I had ever seen since the Lord of the Rings trilogy.  I say that because it had all the action and romance of the Lord of the Rings, although it was missing some of its pizzazz.  None the less it is absolutely worth seeing over and over again.  I not only saw it in the theatre but rented it when it came out and then bought a copy for myself because it was so good, and have since watched it twice.  That's four times in total and I am not through yet.  I recommend this film for anyone who is into pop culture and Indian culture as it incorporates both into one the best films ever made.

Legend of the Seeker

Legend of the Seeker is one of the best televisioin shows I have ever seen.  I love the action and adventure that this series offers, and it is no wonder, since it is brought to you by the same producer as Xena: Warrior Princess and Hercules: The Legendary Journeys.  It is hard to find on television which is why I am offering it on dvd for those of you who cannot find it.  In my time zone and area it is on after midnight on Saturday and Sunday night.  It has some of the finest actors and actresses in it, most of which, are from the land down under and it is actually filmed in New Zealand, one of my favourite backdrops for any production.

Earth 2

Earth 2 was my favourite show about a decade and a half ago, but that isn't saying much considering how far we have come in cinema and computer-generated imagery.  Earth 2 was only around for a season but it did capture my heart considering it is about another planet in the universe much like our own earth here on earth.  Anyhow it is definitely worth a look even if only for the fact that it represents something else besides our own planet, and the thought of perhaps one day colonizing another.  Earth 2 has some very familiar faces in it including Antonio Sabato Jr. and Rebecca Gayheart.

Bruno

This movie is not for the faint of heart, but is completely hilarious if you understand gay humour at all.  Of which I am a huge fan, but I can understand completely if you are offended by this movie because it is completely controversial and I understand completely why it is rated r and why there was so much fuss made about it and why it offended so many people.  Having said that, I completely admire Sacha Baron Cohen's work because he is an amazing artist and fully understands my complete humour.  He understands it like no other really, only because I find his movies and television shows completely hilarious.

P!nk

P!nk is an amazing artist and I should have gotten on this band wagon long ago, however I was waiting for a greatest hits package, only to realize that I would be waiting a really long time, and I wanted to take advantage of the amazing remixes she offers.  She has some of the best djs in the biz and I must say that I am overwhelmingly impressed with the amount of originality she has.  Everyone discounted her on her I'm not Dead album, and with her most recent comeback, she has proved that she is a formidable opponent.
