Bow Chicka Wow Wow was released as the third single from
Mike Posner’s debut studio album entitled 31 Minutes to Takeoff. It features Rapper, Lil Wayne, and is a pretty
good track although not as good as some of his other work. For example, speaking from personal
experience, I waited until it was released as an official Single, with its own Artwork;
before I decided to download it. In
contrast, I downloaded the preceding single without any different album Artwork, than
the album itself showcased.

Mike Posner: Please Don’t Go
Please Don’t Go is an ok song. It was released as the second single from Mike Posner’s debut album entitled 31 Minutes to Takeoff. It was kind of a lackluster album, however I am
hoping his next album is better and that he doesn’t suffer from the Sophomore curse. The new album is entitled Sky High and I have already downloaded the first single, Looks Like Sex, and it’s
great.
Mike Posner: Cooler Than Me (Single Mix)
Cooler Than Me was the debut single from American recording
artist Mike Posner. I fell in love with
it almost instantly, although I must confess that I thought it was an African American singing it at the time. Of
course that was way back in the summer of 2010 so my judgment was a little
clouded. However I enjoy it quite a bit
and I must say I enjoy another artist from his generation; who is an African American and it was most likely him I was thinking about when I heard this song, and that would be none other than Wiz Khalifa.
Jay Sean featuring Lil Wayne: Hit the Lights
Hit the Lights is an amazing song. It was released as the second single to
Freeze Time which is Jay Sean’s fourth studio album that still has no release
date as of yet other than 2012. It actually has been scrapped and he is thus coming out with a new album. However, I had actually been waiting for Freeze Time since the summer of 2010 when the first
single from that album was released.
That’s how long it has been, and there have actually been four singles
released during that time according to Wikipedia. I also read that there has been a single
released from a Mix tape.
Jay Sean featuring Nicki Minaj: 2012 (It Ain’t the End)
I just finished listening to my Jay Sean/Mike Posner
Playlist again and it was pretty incredible once again.
It's 2012 and I am listening to 2012 (It Ain't the End) and although it
reminds me of when it was released; it is still very relevant to this day, as
things are heating up and it is only March of 2012. 2012 (It Ain't the End) was actually released
way back in August of 2010, that's how ahead of the gang Jay Sean was
considering that Britney Spears didn't follow up with her answer to 2012 (ItAin't the End), entitled Till the World Ends, until March of the following
year.
Jay Sean featuring Sean Paul & Lil Jon: Do You Remember
I just finished my Jay Sean/Mike Posner Playlist again. Pretty incredible; I am glad I decided to put
these two artists together. Anyhow, it
was pretty genius for me to decide to start listening to all the MP3s I have
downloaded over the years. It started in
2009 and I only recently stopped, so I have plenty of material to listen to as
I have been waiting for this moment for a long time.
Jay Sean featuring Lil Wayne: Down
I just finished my first run-through of my Jay Sean/Mike Posner Playlist. They were the only two
artists that I could think of putting together since I have a limited
collection of each and given their background in Music, I thought it
appropriate. Mike Posner is more of an
ElectroPop/ElectroHop kind of artist but Jay Sean kind of fits that bill even
though he is more or less strictly Pop.

Madonna: Mother and Father
I always find this song, in particular, interesting as all I
can think about is my own Mother and Father.
In it Madonna says "My Mother died when I was five." My Mother also suffered a death of sorts when
I was around that age. She would lie on
the couch constantly after multiple surgeries and as I was a child, I thought
that she was suffering a death.
Madonna: X-Static Process
I am now listening to X-Static Process and I find it
somewhat disturbing as I am sitting here trying to have a great first Sunday of
Lent and all I feel is negativity around me.
This is a Holy day and I would like to enjoy myself but it is impossible
around here. Today is also known as
Quadragesima Sunday.
Madonna: Intervention
Intervention is a pretty depressing song although I enjoy
the message behind it. Things are really
changing around where I live and I am having a hard time dealing with it
considering the set of circumstances that are about to happen. Everyone wants the Economy to improve yet
they don't know the price of Freedom. I
have learned that it comes at the highest of costs.

Madonna: Nothing Fails
Nothing Fails was released as the third single from the
album American Life. It didn’t garner
that much attention and I am quite certain that there was not a Music video to
accompany this song. However the next
song that was released from this album did have a Music video so I am not sure
what happened there but this song is a little on the fringe, whereas the next
single I am referring to, Love Profusion, was more in the mainstream.

Madonna: Nobody Knows Me
I just finished listening to Nobody Knows Me and although I
am not supposed to be Blogging about this song until after American Life (the
song) and Hollywood; I felt so moved by it that I had to incorporate it into my
repertoire right away. In it Madonna
says "I don't watch TV" and I found that moving as I am having my
Cable disconnected tomorrow.
Madonna: Hollywood
Hollywood is a great song.
I am saying this off the heels of watching the 84th Academy Awards and I could not be happier after having watched those and listening to
this song. They were amazing and truly
awe inspiring. I highly recommend this
song as it will bring a new and different meaning to the word Hollywood.
Madonna: American Life
I just finished American Life. It was pretty great and coming down from the
high of watching the Oscars last night made it even better. I must admit that they were definitely worth
the price I paid for admission to watch them at home.
Madonna: Miles Away
I finished my Religious/Madonna playlist. It was pretty good, but there were some rough parts. For example the things she says are so controversial that it is impossible to get good feedback all of the time from her audience, however that is why I love her. I couldn’t be happier with her controversy. It has always propelled me to the next level and I will never forget what she has meant to me in my life.
Madonna: Like a Prayer 2008
This is one of the more boring songs in my current Madonna Playlist. I chose it because it’s popular but it in no way fits into my current playlist, overall. Of course I am referring to the angry tone my playlist has, complete with verses from the Bible; of all books the Book of Revelation, also known as the Apocalypse. I have a funny feeling we are just entering the Apocalypse or what is also known as Judgment Day.
Madonna: Let It Will Be (The Confessions Tour)
I seem to be zooming through this current Madonna Playlist, I am calling my religious playlist. It features some of Madonna's most religious or religiously inspired songs. Oddly enough most of them or at least the versions I am listening to are from the Confessions on a Dance Floor era. Some are from later and one in particular is even from a pretty early part of her career. It’s actually not the original; however the lyrics are still somewhat the same. For example, the Chorus of this particular mix is still the same for the most part. But the lyrics for the rest of the mix are taken completely from the Bible referring to The Beast Within Mix of Justify My Love.

Madonna: Like It or Not (The Confessions Tour)
I just finished my second most recent Madonna Playlist I am calling a somewhat Religious experience. It features some of her best work, religiously speaking, and then some. I enjoy it thoroughly but that is because I am Religious. I am Secular as well though, and I completely believe in Science and Evolution; so don’t get me wrong. It’s just I have become a very Spiritual person over the years since 9/11 and the death of my Sister.
Madonna: Live to Tell (The Confessions Tour)
This is one of my favorite songs ever performed by Madonna. It caused major controversy at the time and it’s no wonder with her placing herself on a Cross wearing a Crown of thorns. I thought it was an amazing performance and I still do. Sometimes I even get emotional at the end where it gets sad. However it is mostly a joyous occasion as I look up to her and Jesus Christ of course.

Madonna: Isaac (The Confessions Tour)
This is a great song and the Tour version is even better. It is complete with someone who speaks Hebrew, as far as I know, although it is singing rather than speaking. However it brings you right back to the Middle East. I am in love with it although people around here where I live in Canada may think it is nuts to listen to a song where the person is singing in Hebrew.
Madonna: Justify My Love (The Beast Within Mix)
The Beast Within Mix of Justify My Love is most likely the most amazing and most well known mix of Justify My Love. I find it incredibly interesting but that is most likely due to the fact that back in the 1990s I decided to write out the lyrics to this version using my Bible which took forever. I had to find the proper Verses and none of them correlated so I had to use my imagination half of the time.
