Madonna: Mother and Father

I always find this song, in particular, interesting as all I can think about is my own Mother and Father.  In it Madonna says "My Mother died when I was five."  My Mother also suffered a death of sorts when I was around that age.  She would lie on the couch constantly after multiple surgeries and as I was a child, I thought that she was suffering a death.
