Janet Jackson: Unbreakable [studio album]

Unbreakable was released as the eleventh and most recent studio album by Janet Jackson. I am a huge fan so I had to get it. I have more records released from Janet than any other artist or group other than Mariah Carey and Madonna. Unbreakable is a great album.

Janet Jackson ft. J. Cole: No Sleeep

No Sleeep was released as the lead single from Unbreakable. Unbreakable was released as Janet Jackson's eleventh and most recent studio album this year. It is so exciting for me as a huge Janet Jackson fan that I can hardly contain myself and have been buying more and more Janet Jackson material as a result.

Janet Jackson: Together Again [EP]

I downloaded the Together Again EP. It was a great decision as Together Again is a great single. It's my favorite track from The Velvet Rope. I attended a concert in support of The Velvet Rope. It was a world tour and it was thrilling to attend. Together Again remains one of my favorite tracks of all time as a result.

Janet Jackson: The Velvet Rope

I downloaded The Velvet Rope most recently. It was exciting. I had previously owned The Velvet Rope on CD however had since given it away. That was most definitely a mistake especially since now I only own The Velvet Rope in MP3 format. But it is refreshing to own and to listen to once again.

Janet Jackson: All For You

I finally downloaded All For You. It's a great track and made for a great single. It's very light-hearted and dance orientated which I love. I did not like it upon its release in 2001. However that was due to some Janet overload from the previous decade.

Janet Jackson: Feedback

Feedback was released as the lead single from Discipline, Janet Jackson's tenth studio album and up until recently, her most recent. However, that all ended this year with the release of Unbreakable. That would be her eleventh studio release and quite frankly it is superb with a capital S. Discipline was good but it came after so many studio releases in a row, that I must say it was refreshing in a way; for Janet to wait over seven years to release Unbreakable.

Janet Jackson: If

If was released as the second single from Janet Jackson's fifth studio release simply entitled janet. The single entitled If, is a great track and made for a great song. The music video is fantastic and in fact is so fantastic that I still watch it to this day over twenty years upon its release.

Drake: 6 God

6 God is the name of the seventh track included on Drake's mixtape entitled If You're Reading This It's Too Late. If You're Reading This It's Too Late was just released this year. Its sound is current and I enjoy that. It has a very urban feel and 6 God is no different. The entire album is amazing.

Drake: Hotline Bling

Hotline Bling was released just this year as a non-album single thus far. There is report of a possible studio release by Drake at the end of the year. We shall see and we shall also see if Hotline Bling is included on it and if in fact it is then re-categorized as the lead single from his supposed upcoming release. For now, we still have If You're Reading This It's Too Late to enjoy.

Future ft. Drake: Where Ya At

Where Ya At was released as a hit single from Future's third studio album entitled DS2. It features Canadian born rapper Drake and is a great track. It was so impressive as far as Drake was concerned, that I went on to buy his entire mixtape entitled If You're Reading This It's Too Late. I also bought Hotline Bling following that purchase.

Drake: If You're Reading This It's Too Late

If You're Reading This It's Too Late was released on February 13th, 2015. It's the fourth commercial release by Drake. Drake refers to it as a mixtape even though it acts like a studio album. But Drake is about to release a studio album before the year is out according to some sources.

Rihanna ft. Drake: What's My Name?

What's My Name? was released as the second single from Rihanna's fifth studio album entitled Loud. It features Canadian born rapper Drake and is a very impressive track. Drake blows me away on his tracks both featured and non-featured. He is actually way stronger on his non-featured tracks but he is a very impressive addition on his featured tracks.

Drake: Headlines

Headlines was released from Drake's second studio album Take Care as the second single. The lead single from Take Care completely flew under the radar so Headlines actually acts as the lead single. It's great and has aged somewhat better than Over, the lead single from Drake's debut studio album.

Drake: Over

Over was released as the lead single from Drake's debut studio album entitled Thank Me Later. It was a great album and even though Over has aged quite significantly, it still has a good sound. It was just way too trendy for its time. However, Drake has aged quite gracefully and I don't feel as though his current material will age as bad.

Mariah Carey: We Belong Together [maxi-single]

I bought a maxi-single of We Belong Together quite a while ago from Germany. It was a good decision but I didn't realize it until years later because at the time I was on the hunt for something else. However, Mariah Carey hires some of the best DJs in the biz and the remix on the We Belong Together single that I have is great.

Mariah Carey: Heartbreaker [maxi-single]

I just bought the Heartbreaker maxi-single. It was a great decision. I have been listening to this one particular remix of Heartbreaker that is available on the maxi-single but now I have three times as many remixes to chose from and let me tell you, so far so good.

Mariah Carey: I Still Believe [maxi-single]

I just bought my second version of the I Still Believe maxi-single. It was a great choice. The first version I bought is almost twenty years old at this rate so I am glad I updated. There are different remixes found on it, believe it or not and since I am such a diehard Mariah Carey fan this novelty is a no brainer.

Mariah Carey: Auld Lang Syne

Auld Lang Syne was included as the last track on Mariah Carey's second Holiday album. I love her Holiday albums, they are the best and I love how she included more Holiday or secular Christmas music on the second album. It makes it more appealing commercially speaking. In this day and age every little bit helps. Something too religious doesn't always fly in mainstream society.

Mariah Carey: Obsessed

I bought the deluxe edition of Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel, purely for the remixes of Obsessed. The deluxe edition comes with two discs. The second disc consists of four remixes of Obsessed. They are great. I recommend the deluxe edition of Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel as a result.

Mariah Carey: Loverboy

Loverboy was released as the lead single from the album entitled Glitter. Glitter was a soundtrack album of sorts, stemming from the motion picture of the same name. Mariah Carey starred in that film, a film that eventually flopped. However, Loverboy is a great single and remains one of my favorites released by Mariah Carey.

Mariah Carey: Fantasy

I would love to get my hands on the Fantasy single, if one exists. The best I can do right now is listen to the remix album I have of Mariah Carey's entitled the Remixes. There is a great remix of Fantasy included on that. Other than that, Fantasy was released as the lead single from the album entitled Daydream in 1995.

Maroon 5: V

I just downloaded my very first Maroon 5 album. It's entitled V and it is their fifth, released in 2014. It's a pretty good album but not being a big Maroon 5 fan, I can't say it's their best. However there is one track included on it that I like in particular, featuring none other than Gwen Stefani.

Gwen Stefani: Spark the Fire

Spark the Fire was released as a promotional single from Gwen Stefani's upcoming third studio album, late last year. There is still no date set for the release of it which makes me lose interest very fast when there is so much other great new material out there. I still like Spark the Fire and so on but I have lost interest in this supposed third studio album yet again.

Gwen Stefani: Baby Don't Lie

Baby Don't Lie was released as the lead single from Gwen Stefani's upcoming third studio release. Apparently, according to what I read, Gwen Stefani had an entire album ready for release and then scrapped it. We shall now see what the final product sounds like, but so far so good with the release of Used to Love You.
