STAR TREK

Star Trek is one of the best movies of 2009 for sure, and one of the best movies of the decade. The special effects are amazing and if you are infatuated with the future as I am, then you will love this movie as it takes place two centuries from now and is absolutely amazing, if you believe in Star Trek and one day evolving into that, to see the possibilities in the future and the amazing things we will be able to do as people.

Other than that, I highly recommend this movie as much as any other movie this year, and if not more, than so much more, as this movie is absolutely amazing, as I have said, and if you have not ever seen a star trek movie as I once was, then this is the movie for you and for you to see.

THE BLACK EYED PEAS

The Black Eyed Peas have done better this year than any other act in the music industry. First of all the spent 26 weeks in the number one position on the billboard hot 100 and they have been everywhere from television to radio to internet.

I have downloaded every single from the coveted E.N.D. album and that does not include the original, rather the maxi single, or EP. Those are shown above, and for anyone who is a fan of techno or electronica, then I highly recommend these as they are some of the best remixes I have ever heard, and trust me I have heard many.

The invasion of Boom Boom Pow, I Gotta Feeling, and Meet Me Halfway, megamixes and eps are simply the best, and although I have recently reviewed the album in general, I saw it best fit to redo these singles as they have been some of the best singles I have ever heard this year, and definitively some of the best I have ever heard in my life. Worth a listen even if only a preview.

AARON CARTER

Alright so Dance with me featuring Flo Rida is one of the best songs this year, and I have been waiting to download it since September. It is finally out in Canada, and as soon as I found out it was, which was today, I downloaded it, and now I own it.

I love that song, and Aaron Carter has done tremendous this year as a featured dancer on Dancing with the Stars, and is sure to impress with either his latest music video or album, of which I am not even sure if he is doing either, but none the less, I am following him on twitter, and he tweets all the time, so I am sure I will find out at some point. If you enjoy twitter, as I do, then I encourage you to follow him, as he often tweets as I have said, and it is rather exciting, to try and say things in less than 140 characters.

G.I. JOE

Alright, so I haven't seen this movie yet, but it is sitting in my living room, waiting to be seen, on dvd. Anyhow, I am dying to see it, and it should be an excellent film considering we have not really heard anything about G.I. Joe since the 1980's. Having said that, well I am looking forward to it, with great anticipation, as I have seen Transformers recently, and that was amazing.

Not sure if I can pinpoint which one is better, but as it stands right now I am rooting for Transformers, as I haven't seen G.I. Joe yet and I am still on the band wagon of Transformers. That is surely to change though, because I haven't seen anything about G.I. Joe, like I have said, since the 1980's, and I am dying for some refreshing scenery, since I watched the first Transformers so many times, and I am almost sick of it.

Anyhow I am looking forward to watching G.I. Joe since I have not seen anything with Channing Tatum in it, since Step Up, and that was somewhat disappointing.

TRANSFORMERS

So Transformers is one of the most highly anticipated movies of 2009. In fact it is one of the most highly anticipated movies of the 2000's. So having said that, and having watched it, I think it is one of the most amazing films ever. That's not having seen any other movies since I have watched it and what an experience it was. I watched it on a 46" Samsung, flat panel, lcd Television.

It was amazing with the surround sound and I plan on watching it again and again, since I have it on DVD but that shouldn't stop you from purchasing it on Bluray or downloading it in high def. The only draw back to downloading it, is the fact that you do not own the beautiful artwork that accompanies the packaging. Oh and what a fantastic film it was.

For those of you who have seen it in the theatre, well I am extremely jealous, because it would have been amazing. Only this time when 2012 is released in the theatre, I plan on attending that, as that is sure to please as well. So having said that, I recommend this film to nearly everyone. Even if you are a girl you will find this fascinating, as Megan Fox has amazing roles in this film.

JAY SEAN

Ok so Jay Sean kicked the Black Eyed Peas out of number 1 on Billboard after residing there for most of the year. This guy must be something to attain such a feat as that. The Black Eyed Peas stayed there for most of the year, like I said, and it was a record 26 weeks in the top spot of the much coveted Billboard Hot 100. Alright so this guy must be good and not only is he trying to get my attention but I feel that Lil' Wayne is as well since he is featured on this hot track along with being featured on the queen of pop's follow up single to Celebration.

Alright so what does this guy have that no one else has. Well for starters he is from Britain and has an Indian background. I suppose that makes him British Indian or however you would like to look at it. Also he is just coming to America after a very successful and lucrative career in Britain. Not unlike his rival M.I.A. They are both from Britain with Indian or Sri Lankan backgrounds and have both latched on to the hip hop community here in America. Alright so that is probably enough comparisons, but I am sure this will be a runaway hit for him, much like Paperplanes was for her.

There is an underlying Indian influential vibe in the world today. Ever since Slumdog Millionaire and M.I.A. have stepped on to the scene everyone has been crying India. I guess we know where all the money has gone and is going to. Bollywood is on the rise, and between India and China, I am not sure who will come out on top. But I am placing my bet on India, since they are the fan favourite.

BRITNEY SPEARS

Three records in three years is a record for Miss Spears especially after the debacle in the mid 2000's. Alright so it isn't really a record if you count the first go at it. But she was so young and innocent then, that I do not count it as a full fledged outcome. The last three records have really proved her staying power and why she has earned the coveted spot as the princess of pop. Having said that, she still has a long time before she overthrows the queen of pop. I just downloaded the latest single 3 and I must say it is pretty interesting, unlike the lead and follow up single of Circus fame. But having said that, Womanizer still ranks as one of the best songs ever. It was just a little Amish after the much anticipated Blackout era. I still think that Piece of me is her best song ever, but that is only my opinion. It still is though if you count everything she has done and will have a hard time measuring up to that if ever.
