Ugly Betty

I am watching Ugly Betty on DVD right now, season 2, and it is not nearly as good as the first season, and not as good as the fourth either.  I have only seen a tad of the fourth because it was so difficult to find out when it was on since they kept changing it from Wednesday to Friday and then back to Wednesday.  Anyhow I am enjoying it a bit, and more than anything I am looking forward to the fourth and final season because it was so good to watch when it was on and the transformation that Betty goes through is amazing.  I will enjoy the series finale as by that time I will have acquired all four seasons on DVD and it will be absolutely amazing to witness.  I recommend this viewing to anyone who is a fan of ABC, they knock out some excellent shows and I am already in possession of two other shows of theirs on DVD.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry has a brand new song, finally, called California Gurls and it is sure to be a hit.  It is already one of my favorite songs and I am still listening to Starstrukk, so I don't know what that tells you.  Her collaboration with 3OH!3 is one of the best songs from last year, and it kept me wanting more from her especially after her hit CD called One of the Boys.  Her collaboration wasn't as good when she appeared on Timbaland's CD but it is still a good song.  I am dying to download the rest of her forthcoming album entitled Teenage Dream.  But it is not set to be released until the end of summer.  Oh well, I waited this long, so I suppose I can wait a little longer.  I love Katy Perry and I am not sure where she fits in to the whole mix, but I am so glad she decided to concentrate on her singing career.  Katy Perry is an icon for sure, and California Gurls is going to be a hit.

Desperate Housewives

Desperate Housewives is an amazing show and I always wanted to get in to it but I always felt like I was missing out on something since I missed most of the first season. Well I put that to rest when I purchased the first season on DVD and started watching it. I am looking forward to the next few seasons as that is when this show really had its power. The show is currently is its sixth season and is about to wrap up at the end of the month. It should be exciting, but I will wait to see what happens until I finish the other seasons that I plan on buying on DVD. This is the most ambitious purchase of mine, when it comes to television series as it includes over five seasons with more to come. The most I have ever purchased is a five season show and that wasn't much considering they were very inexpensive DVDs.

The Simple Life

This is one of my favorite shows ever.  I love the Simple Life.  The show that is.  I find it so boring to be like a common folk, so I aim for a more interesting character, like Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie.  It is so fun to watch them, and to see the things, that they get away with.  They are an absolutely amazing, joy to watch.  And I am looking forward to watching this series again and again.  I love to see them go shopping, and spend all of their money, and have parties, and pretend to be a good house wife, or worker or what have you.  I love to emulate them and my life is much better when I go out in public and have the kind of attitude they have.  Whether you like it or not, they are here to stay, and I enjoy every moment I have with them, even if it is only on the small screen.
