Lady GaGa
The Edge of Glory is an amazing song. I recommend it to any Lady GaGa fan and any fan of Electro-Pop, which is my new favorite kind of music, or genre. I love the entire Electronic genre, but my favorite subgenre is Electro-Pop. It just drives me wild and I am so in love with it that I can’t even begin to tell you about how much I am in love with it. So enough about that; Lady GaGa is my favorite artist at the time. I am so in love with her and what she has done for music as she is leading the way now that Mariah Carey and Madonna have gone into semi-retirement. I hear that they are both coming back with some huge comebacks, but now that Lady GaGa has arrived, it might be a little more difficult than they think.
The Black Eyed Peas
Don’t Stop the Party is a great song. I want to download the maxi-single so bad if there will be one. I am still waiting for the Just Can’t Get Enough maxi-single but that might be out as I haven’t checked for it recently, let’s hope anyways, as I am getting sick of waiting for these maxi-singles when the songs themselves are released months before. Just checked Wikipedia and there is no sign of it being released anytime soon, I also checked iTunes to see if has been released yet, and no luck. Just Can’t Get Enough is a great song and it’s a shame that there has been no maxi-single released for it as of yet, because I for one would be promoting it none-stop. I just finished listening to and downloading the first maxi-single released from this album and it was absolutely out of this world. I am looking forward to more, come on Black Eyed Peas.
Far East Movement
Ok so If I Was You (OMG) [Club Remix] [feat. Snoop Dogg] is one of the best songs I have ever heard. Now if only they would come out with a maxi-single to that song because it is absolutely amazing. As it stands right now, I have to download a maxi-single of another song of theirs because I am so desperate for some remixes of Far East Movement. I am so impressed with Far East Movement that I downloaded the maxi-single to their first and debut single entitled Like a G6. That was one of the best investments I have ever made because their remixes, in particular, are outstanding as they use DJs who are out of this world. Their names are forgettable but the sound that they produce is unmistakable. It’s really amazing, and if you have never downloaded a maxi-single of theirs, then I highly recommend it.
Britney Spears
I Wanna Go is a great song by Britney Spears. I am feeling a little bit of Britney Spears overload, but that’s ok because I sense a break coming for her soon. She has released three albums in the last four years, along with a compilation album, after a very protracted four-year break from the music industry. It will be a much deserved break, and hopefully she will come back with something more unique than what she has released recently. It’s not that I don’t like her new material, but it kind of blends in. The only song that comes to mind since the infamous Piece of Me is Till the World Ends.
Katy Perry
Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.) is a pretty good song. Katy Perry is taking a slide in my books but that’s because her sophomore album is now almost a year old and when I say sophomore I mean third studio album, but that’s because her debut album did nearly nothing in sales and we didn’t become aware of her until after her second studio album was released, which is essentially her debut album. Anyhow her album with the last five singles released from it is a pretty good album, but I was in love with her more at the end of last year, than I am this year. I just find her to be somewhat of a bore, and that is noticeable with her last and third last song released.
New Boyz
Ok I have never heard of this current group, but they are good none the less. The only reason I downloaded this song is because the Cataracs & Dev are associated with it, but mostly because of the Cataracs. The Cataracs are some of the best DJs I have ever heard, and I have heard a lot. They add a lot of flavor to this song and it is appropriately entitled Backseat. I see on the Cataracs Wikipedia page that they are not entitled DJs, referring to the Cataracs, but they can be classified as Producers I suppose, but even that might be a stretch. I would call them DJs, but they might have issues with that, so let’s just say that the Cataracs are some of the best Producers out there these days.
Jason Derulo
Don’t Wanna Go Home is an amazing track, and now I realize why. It samples a hit from the early 90s that I remember fondly and that’s odd because 90s songs are so old now. We have entered the decade after the 2000s or correctly referred to as the 2010s, pronounced “twenty-tens”, and anything from that era seems so ancient now, especially considering how far music has gone. It has literally gone from one extreme to the other because rap was in way back then and now it is Hip Hop. Not only that but Electro-Pop was in way back then and is now currently in again. It’s crazy really, but this song is especially crazy because it sounds like it is from the early 90s with a huge revamp.

Jersey Shore
That was a great episode of Jersey Shore. It was a little dramatic, but I appreciate some good drama once in a while and that was some pretty good drama. I don’t have much else to say about this show because I actually saw that episode before but it was pretty good and I am glad that I decided to watch it, especially on the night it is actually on the air, which is Saturday. Anyhow I recommend this show to everyone.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians
That was an amazing episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians. I can’t even begin to explain how amazing this show is, and I am only on the Second Season. This show currently has six seasons and could very well be picked up for a seventh. This show is doing phenomenally well and it shows as these celebutauntes grace the cover of countless magazines on the shelf. Some people have yet to even hear about them, but that is sure to change as they are becoming like Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. It will be amazing to see their ascension but I will miss them once they are gone if they become like Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie who now seem to struggle for media attention. But I guess it’s the nature of the beast.
The Simple Life
That was a great episode of the Simple Life. I am watching this show again for the fourth time and it is still captivating to tell you the truth. It’s a classic reality show and for anyone who has never seen it, I highly recommend it as it will go down in history as one of the great all time reality shows. It spawned a whole slew of reality shows in my opinion, including but not limited to Keeping Up with the Kardashians, in fact I am watching this show again in honor of that show.
The Tudors
That episode of the Tudors was pretty good. This show is not nearly as good as some shows that I own on DVD but none the less it is great as it features one of my greatest actors and characters in Jonathan Rhys Meyers and King Henry VIII, respectively. It’s uncanning really, how much they remind me of each other, not that I ever met King Henry VIII, but none the less he still reminds me of him as I am sure that King Henry VIII was just as pompous and arrogant as the character portrayed in the show. I say that because someone would have to have been quite dedicated to have almost destroyed the Catholic Church at that time which was essentially during its peak. The Catholic Church to this day remains a formidable force, but has suffered greatly since those days as most of North America and Europe have abandoned that Church to follow their own Protestant Church.
Brothers and Sisters
That was a great episode of Brothers and Sisters. It amazes me how good this show can be and then the next second I hate it. But I was completely loving it tonight. I watched it on Sunday which was amazing because that is the night it was originally on. I wouldn’t have watched it if it wasn’t Sunday because I am trying to watch shows that I have on DVD on the night that they were originally on. It seems to make it somewhat more exciting because it is always good to have an authentic feel for the show and every day does have a different feel. Sundays are great because it is a great day to have fun, before the real work starts. Brothers and Sisters has a complete different feel on Sunday than it has on any other day of the week because I have watched it on other days and it doesn’t feel the same. Watching shows on the original day they were on is my new favorite thing to do and I highly recommend it, especially if you are watching them on DVD or what have you.
Lost
That was a great episode of Lost. Not the best that I ever saw, but definitely up there since it was extremely crazy and all. But I like that since I am a little bit crazy myself. Anyhow you should definitely check this series out if you haven’t already. It’s available on Blu-ray Disc now so I recommend that over DVD as I am in the process of watching a movie on Blu-ray Disc and I must say that it is much better than Digital Video Disc (DVD), although I only have Lost on DVD unfortunately.
Keeping Up with the Kardashians
That was a great episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, not as great as the one previous to this, but great none the less. I much prefer when they include the whole family, but I also love when they have other guests on that aren’t necessarily part of the family but are part of the show in a way. What I am really looking forward to is some more footage about their website and the next two seasons. I am on Season Two right now and I can get the next two seasons relatively quickly but I will have to wait a while for the following two. The second one of the following two is still on the air, and just started to air this past or current summer. I am looking forward to all of the seasons, but that will take a long time.

Alanis Morissette: Flavors of Entanglement
Flavors of Entanglement is a great album. There are three songs that stick out in particular on it. The first one is Underneath, then Not as We, and finally Citizen of the Planet. If for no other reason, you should buy this album because of those songs. Actually if you prefer to download songs only, then I recommend those the most, but the rest of the album is ok. It’s not her best work, but she has a long career behind her and most of her work was done then, in particular the work that stands out.
Alanis Morissette: The Collection
Alanis Morissette: The Collection is a great greatest hits package but not as good as the No Doubt package which I previously discussed. There are a few songs missing and overall, it has some pretty unfamiliar songs on it. None the less it is a great album considering that Crazy is featured on it, and Alanis Morissette's rendition is pretty much ten times better than the original.
Alanis Morissette: So-Called Chaos
I just finished listening to So-Called Chaos and it was quite amazing. The two singles released from this album were pretty amazing, but they still needed some work. Alanis Morissette kind of grew complacent after her first few albums given the gravity of success she had while she was on top of the world. That is completely understandable and I congratulate her on that success, considering that no one else really at that time had such an impact on the rest of the world. Anyhow like I was saying, the two singles released off of this album were outstanding and I recommend them to everyone.
Alanis Morissette: Feast on Scraps
Finally I am through with my Alanis Morissette “walk down memory lane”. It was great but it didn’t exactly end on a high note. I love watching Alanis sing and all but there is definitely something missing on this album. It cuts in and out, going from high volume, to low, and then to make matters worse it goes from one clip of a song to another without any segue. It’s pretty disturbing but all in all it was a good concert album. I enjoyed it, but I won’t rush out to buy another, at least not one of hers.
Alanis Morissette: Under Rug Swept
Listening to Under Rug Swept again was amazing. It totally reminded me of the last Decade and the turn of the Century. Fond memories, but also very painful ones, anyhow I enjoy listening to Alanis Morissette because she is extremely inspirational and awe inspiring. I really enjoyed this album and I am so glad I bought it on CD because I am getting somewhat sick of all these Digital Downloads that I cannot put in my stereo. I am forced to listen to them through my iPod or connect my iPod to my stereo. Talk about a lot of rig-a-ma-role.
Alanis Morissette: Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie
Listening to Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie again was pretty amazing. I love Alanis Morissette and I am so glad that she is from Canada. She was actually born in a city that I used to live in for a very long time in Canada, called Ottawa. Ottawa is the capital city of Canada and it is quite thrilling to live there or be there in general. I am looking forward to going back and perhaps I will run into Alanis while I am there, joke. Anyhow it would be great to see her but I understand she is really busy so going back to Ottawa is not on her list of priorities at this time I do believe. She is based out of Los Angeles now and apparently has a husband and child.
Alanis Morissette: Jagged Little Pill
Jagged Little Pill was a great album. It’s not my favorite Alanis Morissette album but it is pretty close. I became completely sick of it when I listened to it so much in the 90s because at the time it was a really good record. Now that I have had some time to listen to other things and in particular her other things, I have changed my mind because I think her best work is done on her follow-up album and the follow-up to that album. Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie is just an amazing album, Under Rug Swept is just as good, but missing some commercial success that I so desire. I find the most commercially successful albums are my favorite, but usually a little something a little less likely to be commercially successful. Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie fits that bill because it is not as main-stream as her debut album, Jagged Little Pill, but still has some flare from that album.

Keeping Up with the Kardashians
I just finished an episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and oh what an exciting episode it was. This is my new favorite show, at least as far as Reality Shows are concerned. I can’t think of any other, except Jersey Shore, and no other non-Reality Shows. The only show that I can think of that isn’t Reality is Lost, but even that is a stretch considering I have seen that show so much. Keeping Up with the Kardashians makes me laugh like no other show. I haven’t laughed that hard since the Simple Life.
Jersey Shore
That episode of Jersey Shore was so amazing. I am now on the Second Season and I don’t think I have seen every episode of that season so that one was more exciting than any other in my opinion because I know I haven’t seen it before. It was the Season Premiere and it was a great way to kick off the season. I am looking forward to the rest of the season and the Third Season as well, as that season is being released this month.
The Simple Life
That episode of the Simple Life was absolutely amazing and terribly exciting. I say terribly because this show is definitely a guilty pleasure. I feel guilty watching it, but their behavior is completely admirable. I want to be like them when I watch it but then I try and it just doesn’t work because I am not them, but it sure is funny to imitate them and impersonate them. Their accents are completely hysterical, and their tone of voice is completely sexual which is hot.
The Tudors
That was a great episode of the Tudors. It took me a while to get through it, but none the less, it was great. I am getting nervous for the Queen because King Henry is being a jerk, but I am used to that, having seen this series in entirety before. Anyhow, the Queen was one of my favorite characters before she died. None of the other Queens really measure up and I feel this love for the Queen because of my own Commonwealth citizenship and the love I have for the current Queen. I have always loved royalty, and the current Monarch is no different.
Brothers and Sisters
That was a pretty amazing episode of Brothers and Sisters. I am always amazed with how I feel about this show, as one second I hate it, but the next second I love it. I would have to say that overall I don’t like it very much, but I don’t hate it either. It’s a pretty good show, but I am not sure if I should have gotten it on DVD. It’s an ok investment but I have been more impressed with other shows, in particular Desperate Housewives comes to mind since Desperate Housewives immediately precedes Brothers and Sisters on Sunday night, except now Brothers and Sisters has been cancelled so I am not sure what will fill that timeslot.
Lost
That was by far the craziest and best episode I ever saw of Lost. That show never ceases to amaze me and I am so glad I invested so much money in it and decided to wait to watch it on DVD. I didn’t think this show would be good at all when I first started watching it while it was on the air. I then decided years later to buy it on DVD and I have not been disappointed once since I did that. I have seen almost four seasons since around this time last year and it was absolutely amazing to see each one. I am thrilled that I have had the opportunity to finally bear witness to the power of this show. I understand now why it did so well and why it was on the air for such a long time.
Grey's Anatomy
That was a pretty good episode of Grey’s Anatomy but I can see that the best days of this show are behind me. I started watching this show around a year ago but it has literally taken me six months just to get halfway through the Fifth Season. It’s not that the Fifth Season is bad but it’s not nearly as compelling as the previous four. I will therefore be in no rush to purchase the Sixth Season, which I believe has gone back up in price. I am going to savor this moment and enjoy the Fifth Season at a much higher reduced speed. It’s better to watch shows slowly than all at once.

Mariah Carey: Loverboy
I am not sure how anyone else feels about Loverboy, but in my opinion it is one of the best songs ever created. I still have it playing in my mind after having finished listening to it over a month ago. Loverboy is from the now infamous Glitter soundtrack, but that shouldn’t stop you from purchasing it. I am in love with this song and I have been since day one. I purchased the single when it came out on CD immediately and not only that, but I have the album in which it’s from as well. Glitter by no stretch of the imagination is my favorite album, but this song is definitely one of my favorites. Although Mariah Carey had a little bit of a meltdown before it was released, it doesn’t take away from the song or album, even though the album is not the best.
Mariah Carey: Rainbow
Rainbow was probably one of the best Mariah Carey albums ever. It was released at the turn of the Century and there could not have been better timing. Things were just heating up as the last Millennium drew to an end and the current and new Millennium started to heat up. Of course we have realized that since then it is going to be a long one thousand years, but think of it like a day. Saturday is the best day of the week in my opinion and we have only just begun, so Saturday morning is like whereabouts we are now and it’s only just beginning. Saturday night was always the best night of the week excluding Friday night so it should be one interesting ride.
Mariah Carey: I Still Believe
I Still Believe, taken from Mariah Carey's first compilation album entitled #1’s, is a great song, so much so that I decided to purchase the maxi-single for this song. It includes some major remixes on it, most notably The Kings Mix, remixed by David Morales. David Morales is one of the greatest DJs of all time and is a favorite of Mariah Carey's. He has done most of her remixes and with great success considering that her remixes are some of the most notable in history. Only one other person comes to mind, and that is the Queen of Pop, herself, Madonna. Of course they both have different styles, but they are both amazing Electronic influenced artists. Lady GaGa of course pulling up the rear, but Mariah Carey would even re-sing her songs to make them even that much more original on the remixes, talk about going all out.
Mariah Carey: #1's
#1’s is one of the best compilation albums I have ever heard, although with a typical compilation album there are usually greatest hits, but with this compilation album there are only songs that went to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. The Billboard Hot 100 is still the staple as far as music charts go, but there are others that are increasing in dominance. Mariah Carey made this album with great intentions but she left out so many songs that didn’t make it to #1 but should have. The other compilation albums that she came out with don’t even register in my mind because they are so unmemorable, whereas this compilation is one of the best compilation albums I have ever heard. There are four new songs on this album but what I am most missing is Make It Happen.
Mariah Carey: Honey
The Honey single was probably one of the best I heard up until the year it was released in way back in 1997. I remember that summer fondly and the Honey single was definitely a highlight. I was in Montreal that summer and unfortunately Diana, Princess of Wales passed on that year but we have her eldest son to remind us of her considering her youngest son does not resemble her as much in my opinion. None the less he is a great person and they should both be proud of their mother, as I am sure they are. This song will go down in history as a reminder of that time for me, given that it was released days before that tragedy.
Mariah Carey: Butterfly
Butterfly was an amazing album. I highly regret not buying it at the time but I could barely afford the Honey single at that time. None the less it was a great album and I am so glad I got to know it after the fact; it makes that time period in my mind so worth the while. Anyhow I highly recommend this album to everyone.
Mariah Carey: Daydream
Listening to Daydream again was great. Mariah Carey never ceases to amaze me. She is seriously the best singer I have ever heard, and I have heard some pretty amazing ones. Anyhow I hear she is a mother now, so that will definitely slow her down but I am not counting her out. Fantasy was the best song on this album and I am so impressed with that song. I would love to recommend it to everyone but I hear that she is not as popular as she once was. Maybe she is too much of a Diva now, but she can’t help that. She is who she is right?
