Madonna: MDNA

MDNA was released as Madonna's twelfth album in 2012. I thought that was pretty poignant the way she did or did not plan that. None the less, the fact remains that her twelfth Studio album, her first being released in 1983, just so happened to be released in the year 2012, or '12, written shorthand.

Madonna: Superstar

Superstar was included as the seventh track on MDNA. MDNA was released as the twelfth Studio album by Madonna. Superstar was not released as an official single, however it's such a great song and so well-written.

Madonna: Don't Stop

Dallas Austin helped write the track entitled Don't Stop. Don't Stop was included as the fourth track on Bedtime Stories and even though it was not released as an official single, I enjoy it quite a bit. I remember Dallas Austin from his work with TLC, a girl-group I admire.

Madonna: Inside of Me

Inside of Me was included as the fifth track on Madonna's sixth Studio album entitled Bedtime Stories. It's a great album. I bought it upon its release in 1994 and so I have owned it for twenty years. That's pretty exciting for me to admit but you have to be a huge Madonna fan to appreciate the magnitude of that statement.

Madonna: I'm Addicted

I'm Addicted was included as the third track on MDNA. That would be Madonna's twelfth album. MDNA was released in 2012. She released three singles from it, but unfortunately I'm Addicted was not one of them. I was happy with the three that were released; however one of them in particular was somewhat common.

Madonna: Beautiful Killer

Beautiful Killer was included as the first track on Disc 2 of MDNA's deluxe edition. I bought the deluxe edition of MDNA for the extra songs even though I think the album artwork for the standard edition is far superior. However, I needed all the songs that were included with the release of MDNA. Beautiful Killer is just one of them and it's a great song.

Madonna: Bedtime Stories

Bedtime Stories was released as Madonna's sixth Studio album in the latter half of 1994. It's hard to believe it has been twenty years as you would never know it by listening to Bedtime Stories. However, there are certain songs that haven't aged so gracefully, like I'd Rather Be Your Lover, for example.

Mariah Carey: Someday

Someday was released as the third single from Mariah Carey's self-titled debut studio album. It's hard to believe that my two favorite singers both have self-titled debut Studio albums. But that's just how things work out sometimes. Mariah Carey had four consecutive #1's with her debut studio album.

Mariah Carey: Emotions

Emotions was released as the lead single from Mariah Carey's second Studio album of the same name. That makes Emotions the title track. Emotions was released in 1991, following Mariah Carey's extraordinarily successful year which preceded it. It's hard to believe she has been releasing records for that long but she is one of the best singers in the world.

Mariah Carey: The Remixes

The Remixes is the title of the premiere remix album by Mariah Carey. I hope it's not the last, although it was released by Columbia in 2003, long after her departure from that label. Mariah Carey may not have even had a hand in its release, although she most likely gave her consent within the confines of the contract she signed with Columbia.

Mariah Carey: You're Mine (Eternal)

You're Mine (Eternal) was released as the third single from Me. I am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse. That is the title of Mariah Carey's current and fourteenth Studio album. She just released it this past May, 2014. I bought it immediately but I own all of her albums so it wasn't as if my collection would have been complete without it.

Mariah Carey: Fantasy [Def Club mix]

The Def club mix of Fantasy is amazing. It reminds me of this documentary I watched because in the documentary there is a similar sound that is found in this particular remix. The documentary is exciting, but it's more depressing than exciting. However I enjoy watching it when I want contrast from the euphoria this track creates, for example.

Mariah Carey: Me. I am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse

Me. I am Mariah... The Elusive Chanteuse is a pretty good name for an album. It's too bad the album itself isn't as good, in my opinion. I have only listened to one song, the third single. The Music video for the third single is not very exciting either and in my opinion, Mariah Carey just can't seem to grasp that the world has moved on from her so-called hip hop days.

Mariah Carey: Heartbreaker/If You Should Ever Be Lonely [Junior's Heartbreaker Club mix]

The remix of Heartbreaker that appears on Mariah Carey's remix album, remains my favorite remix from that album. I still listen to it months following my purchase of The Remixes by Mariah Carey. I am not sure if Mariah Carey had anything to do with its release, referring to the remix album, but The Remixes is a great album.

Linkin Park: Reanimation

Reanimation was released as Linkin Park's first remix album following the release of their debut Studio album. It was released prior to their second Studio album and even though they did not release another remix album until after the release of their fifth Studio album; they released four Studio albums in between.

Linkin Park: Until It's Gone

Until it's Gone appears as the seventh track on The Hunting Party and was released as the second single from the album. The album was released on June 17th of this year and I am thrilled to say that I own it on Compact disc. That was quite an achievement for me considering that it is very well-written and previous to that I bought all five of their other Studio albums.

Linkin Park: One Step Closer

One Step Closer was released as the debut single from Linkin Park. It was released from their album entitled Hybrid Theory. Linkin Park was once known as Hybrid Theory; however it was prior to the incorporation of Chester Bennington as far as I know. Chester Bennington wasn't always the lead singer, which is why Mike Shinoda still helps out with vocals.
