Hybrid Theory was released as the first or debut Studio album by Linkin Park, for those unfamiliar with industry talk. For example, someone's debut single is often considered their first ever release. I am not quite sure where Linkin Park's debut single fits in but One Step Closer was released as the first or lead single from Hybrid Theory.
