MICHAEL JACKSON

The untimely death of Michael Jackson has spawned me to purchase HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book 1. I have owned the Thriller album and Dangerous album in the past but have donated them to charity because one was on vinyl and the other was on cassette, respectively. I decided to purchase the greatest hits album because I felt drawn to him because of the most recent tragedy. HIStory: Past, Present and Future, Book 1 includes most of his greatest hits including Man in the Mirror and Heal the World, of which I am huge fans of. Man in the Mirror is about taking charge and making a change, and Heal the World is about the same kind of thing. Michael Jackson is a huge philanthropist and someone who I admire and look up to immensely. He will be forever missed and we know that he is still among us in or on some level. His music will never die, and I am making an oath to cherish it forever. I will never forget what you gave to us in the short time you were around. Love to Michael and his entire family. I am thinking of you and Janet Jackson the most.

In the past two and one half weeks Michael Jackson has sold over 2.3 million albums since his death. Thank you for making this possible. And you are not alone as I have gone out and done the same. Actually I have not gone out at all. Rather I have purchase the album from the comfort of my home using the Amazon.com website. I have also purchased another album but I will leave that to discuss at a later date. Anyhow I recommend using the Amazon.com website as they ship to your address and some of these albums are only available online since the demise of brick and mortar retail music carriers.

RUPAUL

RuPaul has done it again with a huge hit featured on his hit show RuPaul's Drag Race of which Bebe Zahara Benet was awarded the winner. We haven't heard much of Ru since his hit single Supermodel (You Better Work). But we have all been waiting in anticipation for the next project and the next project was indeed worth waiting for. Covergirl is a huge hit worth the purchase if for no other. Covergirl has amazing dance quality and who doesn't love a good dance hit. RuPaul did not disappoint with this latest attempt and the rest of the album is mostly energetic and appealing. I highly recommend purchasing this album due to the amazing effort of Covergirl. Everything else on the album is also worth a listen but I am in love with the Covergirl song.

Some the Cds or singles or albums advertised here are only available online. The Champion album featuring the hit single Covergirl is only available online according to most retail outlets. This gives you a chance to order something online as who isn't going to purchase something online at some point and why not start now as this will help our economy. It works out to be about the same price once gas and so on are factored in.

BLACK EYED PEAS

The Black Eyed Peas latest release entitled The E.N.D. ("The Energy Never Dies") hits stores this week and is available as a download from Amazon.com. Their latest release and comeback of the year is not set to disappoint with a slew of hits slated for release. It has a more techno urban feel unlike their most recent releases which included a more urban hip hop feel. Boom Boom Pow is their current single and has done tremendously well scoring the number one slot on the Billboard hot 100 for a ninth week in a row. This is their first number one hit ever and is not set to disappoint. This puts Boom Boom Pow in the ranks of such hits as "We Belong Together" by Mariah Carey and others such as Flo rida and Kanye West. I encourage you to check it out and buy when you have time.

I Gotta Feeling has replaced Boom Boom Pow on top of the Billboard Hot 100. Making it the only group to do so since the famous group Outkast and only 1 of 4 groups to have ever have achieved such success. It has remained on top of the Billboard hot 100 for five consecutive weeks and is sure to endure more. Although Drake is on their heels.
