No Doubt: Spiderwebs

Spiderwebs received some of my attention previous to the massive release and success of Don't Speak.  But it wasn't enough to sell Tragic Kingdom for me.  Don't Speak changed all of that, especially with the length of time it spent at #1.

No Doubt: Bathwater

Bathwater is a great song and it was released as the third and final single from Return of Saturn, discounting New which was released from GO, but included on Return of Saturn.

No Doubt: Ex-Girlfriend

Ex-Girlfriend is very well-written.  It didn't do very well on the charts but the Music video is very colorful and I highly recommend it.

No Doubt: New

I have no idea when I bought the Compact Disc for The Singles 1992-2003 but it was such a good decision.  The best part is New, originally found on the Soundtrack album entitled GO: Music from the Motion Picture but I previously owned it on Compact Disc through No Doubt's fourth Studio album entitled Return of Saturn.  It was a poor decision to have returned that CD, but I have The Singles 1992-2003 to keep me company.

No Doubt: It’s my Life

Now that I have become more familiar with No Doubt's recent work from 2012, it's strange going back in time and watching their old material, but It's my Life is a Classic.

No Doubt: Looking Hot

Looking Hot is a great song.  I am so glad to have Gwen Stefani back in my life on a Musical level. But above and beyond that, I am even more excited to have No Doubt back in my life since they have been out of it the longest. This is their first Studio album since 2001.

No Doubt: Settle Down

Settle Down is an amazingly well-written song.  No Doubt definitely impressed me with this hit.  I have literally been waiting ten years for this song.  But it was so worth the wait.  Gwen Stefani always impresses me.  She doesn’t even have to do anything but be herself and for her, that comes very easily, which is so obvious from watching the Music video for Settle Down.  It is so well-directed and well produced that I highly recommend it to any fan of American music.

No Doubt: Don’t Speak

Don't Speak is obviously No Doubt's signature song, but their material is so awe inspiring that to discount the rest of their catalogue in favor of this song, would be a mistake.  Don't Speak is amazing but I honestly prefer their other work nowadays.  However I am grateful for this song because it introduced me to them.

No Doubt: Trapped in a Box

Trapped in a Box was No Doubt's debut single.  The Music video is pretty interesting, but the lyrics to this song are what impress me the most.  Being trapped in a box is not fun as far as watching Television 24 hours a day goes, that's for sure.

No Doubt: It’s my Life

It's my Life is a great song and even though it was not originally performed by No Doubt, No Doubt definitely has the best version in my opinion.  This song was released as the lead and only single to their Greatest hits album.

No Doubt: New

The song New included on No Doubt's Studio album entitled Return of Saturn, is out of this world. The song itself is from a Soundtrack album originally, but it fits in pretty nicely with the Return of Saturn repertoire.

No Doubt: Hella Good

Hella Good has some of the best Cinematography I have ever seen as far as the Music video is concerned, including but not limited to Gwen Stefani's multiple hairdos in the video.  I highly recommend this song and video.

No Doubt: Looking Hot

Looking Hot is such an amazing song.  I just got confirmation today that it is to be the second single released from Push and Shove on November 6th, 2012.  That should be exciting and I am very much looking forward to the Music video.

No Doubt: Settle Down

Settle Down is such a great song.  I am so glad I bought this album even though I have no food to eat. But at this point in my life, I would rather hear excellent music than over-eat.

Madonna featuring LMFAO & Nicki Minaj: Give me all your luvin’ (Party Rock Remix)

I just finished listening to the Party Rock remix of Give me all Your Luvin’ over the weekend and it was pretty exciting.  I included it on a different Playlist but it was good none the less.  I am taking a little break from Madonna because she is on tour right now and has already received a warning from the State Department in the United States of America; and the last thing I want to do is draw more attention to her or her tour.  As Blogging about her like crazy, often has a negative effect as far as that goes.

Madonna: Beautiful Killer

Beautiful Killer was not released as a single to MDNA as of yet and most likely will not be, considering it is on the second Disc of the Deluxe edition from MDNA.  However it is a great song and it is very well-written.  It talks about someone being a beautiful killer with beautiful eyes and a great disguise.

Madonna: I’m a sinner

I'm a sinner is a great song. It hasn't been released as an official single and most likely will not be.  It's not that it is derogatory, rather it is extremely controversial in terms of its religiosity and references to Christianity.  I prefer it, but I have been overplaying it and I feel as though people are growing tired of it.  But that's ok because I am used to their hatred for Madonna and I, since I love her so much.

Madonna: Superstar

Superstar is a pretty good song.  Once again, I am growing somewhat tired of the album on which it's from.  MDNA is a great album but at this point I am over-playing it because I want to support Madonna this year in a huge way.  I waited four years for her to release her most recent Studio album and she is on tour, all of this year.  Her tour is entitled the MDNA tour and I am looking forward to getting it on Blu-ray Disc when it is released.  That is of course assuming that she will, but at this point she has released the last two tours on Disc.  Above and beyond that, she released a Documentary of the tour preceding the last two.

Madonna: Turn up the radio

Turn up the radio was released as the third single from MDNA, Madonna's twelfth Studio album.  She is currently on tour right now across North America in support of her latest attempt and her current tour is entitled the MDNA tour.  I would love to have gone, but I couldn't get it together and then she decided not to perform in the town I was intending on going to in order to see her.  She did however have dates scheduled for cities she does not usually perform in, close to me, and in fact she either has or will perform in the city I went to University in, named Ottawa; which is actually the capital city of Canada and above and beyond that she even has a date planned for Quebec City which she might have completed by now.  But none the less, it was an odd venue for her.

Madonna: I’m addicted

I'm addicted appears as the third track on MDNA, right in front of Turn up the radio or preceding it.  Some people do not understand what the word precede means, but it essentially means the song before Turn up the radio on the album.  I said it three different ways so it should be clear by now but some people will still not understand.  But that is because the word ‘precedes’ is a difficult word to grasp.  It literally took me months just to grasp the correct way to spell it.

Madonna: Girl gone wild

I just finished watching the Music video for Girl gone wild, by Madonna.  It was pretty exciting but what was even more exciting was finally seeing some news footage of Madonna on her most recent tour entitled the MDNA tour.  Girl gone wild is a great song but it might be a little controversial at this point in History, even though it is hardly six months old.

No Doubt: Looking Hot

I can't seem to finish Looking Hot because it sounds too good and I don't want to ruin it unless I am in the perfect environment; which for me means in front of my stereo at home so I can hear it perfectly.  None the less it sounds good, but I still can't wrap my mind around it because it sounds too good.

No Doubt: Settle Down

I am listening to Settle Down again and it is absolutely amazing.  No Doubt is ultimately my favorite Rock band ever at this point.  Gwen Stefani is such a star and Celebrity it isn’t even funny.  Her stardom is one of the best things this world has to offer, in my opinion.  She has been completely out of the scene, but she is so obviously back it isn’t even funny; to be completely repetitive.  However the repetitivity is warranted.

Gwen Stefani: Fluorescent

Fluorescent is a pretty good song.  It appears as track eight on Gwen Stefani's second Studio album entitled The Sweet Escape; which makes it the track following Yummy featuring Pharrell Williams.  On that album he is known simply as Pharrell but he is most commonly referred to as Pharrell Williams.  He is the lead vocalist for the Hip hop group entitled N.E.R.D.  But he is also a Record producer for what I call the massively successful record production duo entitled The Neptunes; The Neptunes are amazing in my opinion.  Even though Yummy was not released as a single, it is still a very well-written track and worth checking out.

Gwen Stefani: Now that you got it

I just finished listening to Now that you got it and it was amazing.  It was released as the fourth single to Gwen Stefani's second Studio album entitled The Sweet Escape, and that album is also amazing.  I generally do not support solo efforts from artists who were originally in groups, but I definitely made an exception for Gwen Stefani; although it took two albums in order for me to do so.  She has great Creativity and her writing skills are fantastic, but I had to seriously contemplate breaking one of my rules against supporting solo efforts in the Music world.

Gwen Stefani: Early Winter

Early Winter is a pretty good song.  I just finished listening to it this morning.  It's well-written but lacks a certain appeal with the topic being winter.  When you live in Canada, winters aren't always easy and nor are they enjoyable.  However I enjoy this topic when it is sung by Gwen Stefani because she is like the lead-singer-of-a-rock-band-version of Madonna.

Gwen Stefani: What you waiting for?

What you waiting for? was released as the lead single to Gwen Stefani's debut Studio album as a Solo artist.  That album was entitled Love. Angel. Music. Baby. and it went 3x Platinum in the United States and 5x Platinum in Canada, just to name a few.  Off the top of my head, which is an educated guess; I would have to say that it was one of the top-selling albums by a Solo artist, coming from a group, in history.

Eve featuring Gwen Stefani: Let me Blow ya Mind

Let me Blow ya mind is a great song.  I am Blogging about this song and I am going to put it on my Gwen Stefani Playlist because she is a featured artist on this song.  But for me it's all about Eve because her part is the part blows me away.  Gwen Stefani's part is good but I prefer her featured part on another popular song of the time, featuring her like I said, by Moby entitled South Side.  That song was amazing and Gwen Stefani's part was extraordinary.

Hamza Namira: Taghreeba II (Tazkarti)

Taghreeba II (Tazkarti) is a great song from the onset.  It appears as track four on Insan, Hamza Namira's second Studio album.  Which makes it the one track before my favorite song on the album thus far, and that would be none other than Ya Muhawwin.  I love Ya Muhawwin but Taghreeba II (Tazkarti) is growing on me like wild fire.  It's a great warm-up to Ya Muhawwin.

Hamza Namira: Insan

At first glance, the Music video for Insan is ok.  I am much more impressed with Hamza Namira’s other work, but at this point I am desperate for any Secular Arabic music, otherwise known as Middle Eastern music.  It’s an entire Genre of music and quite frankly is my favorite at this point.

Hamza Namira: El-Midan

El-Midan is an ok song.  I prefer Hamza Namira’s other material so far.  But it is always good to have a slow and depressing song to remind me of what is going on in the world as compared to the very lighthearted No Doubt song I just listened to.  But Hamza Namira is an amazing artist who I am most definitely going to support.  He was born in Saudi Arabia and was raised in Saudi Arabia until the age of 12; and then his parents returned to Egypt, so he spent most of his life in Egypt; thus far.

Hamza Namira: Hansa

The first run-through of Hansa has me wanting more.  I have literally been dying for some good Arabic music; but Arabic music I can support through the sales of Compact Discs or MP3s.  It’s hard to find, because in the Islamic world, Secular music is not nearly as popular as Islamic music.  Whereas in the Christian world it is the complete opposite, which actually makes me want it all the more.  I am tired of the Secularism in the West and so I need a little taste of what is to come in the Islamic world.  There are more and more artists realizing that they are free to sing secularly in the Islamic world with the changes that are taking place on that part of the planet.

Hamza Namira: Ibn El-Watan

Ibn El-Watan is a great song.  I have yet to Blog about it which is surprising, but that’s what I am doing right now.  Awakening Records is a great Record label, I highly recommend it.  Hamza Namira is a great singer and since he is from Saudi Arabia, I highly recommend him.  He moved to Egypt when he was 12 but he spent the early part of his life on the Arabian Peninsula in the dominant country on the Arabian Peninsula, which is obviously Saudi Arabia.  If you are unaware of that at this point in your life then you have been living under a rock.

Hamza Namira: Ew'idooni

I don’t really like the guitar in Ew’idooni.  I prefer something a little more Middle Eastern when it comes to Middle Eastern music and guitars scream North America to me.  I am trying to get away from that sound, having said that, guitars in North America are so 1980s.  I haven’t heard a guitar like that, which is featured in this song since like 1981, which is obviously an exaggeration, however not much of one.

Hamza Namira: Ya Muhawwin

Ya Muhawwin is a great song.  I only have access to it through my YouTube account but I am seriously thinking about purchasing at least this song because I am dying for some more Secular Arabic music as opposed to the Islamic music I have.  It's not that I don't like the Islamic music but I have found that Secular music is a better seller and so therefore it's easier to get your hands on.  Hamza Namira is the solo artist who sings this song.

No Doubt: Don’t Speak

Don't Speak is quite literally No Doubt's most successful single ever and their signature song.  It's a great song and I highly recommend it.  It is what propelled me into purchasing and supporting their material.  That is a decision I do not regret and I look forward to getting more with the release of their new, long awaited and highly anticipated Studio album.

No Doubt: Ex-Girlfriend

Ex-Girlfriend was released as the lead single to the release of 2001's Return of Saturn.  Return of Saturn was No Doubt's fourth Studio album having released two more since; however one of those only came recently, having said that I am extremely excited about the prospect of getting it.  It's on the way as I speak and so therefore I will be Blogging about their latest Studio album entitled Push and Shove for quite some time to come.

No Doubt: Hella Good

I just finished listening to Hella Good, the second single released from No Doubt's second most recent Studio album entitled Rock Steady, released all the way back in 2001.  That's crazy for me to even say, let alone believe.  Rock Steady was such an amazing album and Push and Shove is sure to be as well.  I just ordered it from Amazon.com and I could not be more excited.  I just finished three new No Doubt Playlists and one Gwen Stefani Playlist in their honor and hers of course.

No Doubt: It’s My Life

It's my Life is a great song, appearing on No Doubt's Greatest hits album.  However I am watching it on their Greatest hits Music video album, which is called The Videos 1992 - 2003.  I bought that before I purchased the Compilation album of a similar name, referring to their Singles.  But I actually prefer the music album as compared to the video album because the songs are in a better order and there are no Segues as like on the video album where there is a segue between each Music video. The Music video DVD is good however and so therefore I recommend both.

No Doubt: Sunday Morning

Sunday Morning is one of my favorite No Doubt songs ever.  I remember blasting this song on my stereo when I lived in Ontario and it was amazing. Sunday Morning brings back so many memories of when it was released that summer.  That summer being the summer of 1997, and although that sounds like a long time ago, things haven't changed that much concerning this song.  Sunday Morning is a classic song and the Music video is timeless.

No Doubt: New

The Music video for New is amazing.  I remember when this song was released and I could not have been more excited.  It is such a well-written song and the Cinematography in the Music video is out of this world.  This song was written for a Soundtrack album but it did appear on their proceeding Studio album entitled Return of Saturn.  That album was very well-written as well, but is the case for deep spiritually enlightening music, it didn't do that well, sales wise.

No Doubt featuring Bounty Killer: Hey Baby

Hey Baby was released as the lead single to No Doubt's much anticipated and long-awaited Studio album, back then, entitled Rock Steady.  However they have surpassed that feat with their latest attempt.  But Hey Baby was a great song and the Music video is super exciting.  The song itself features Bounty Killer, an act they are often associated with and so the Music video features them as well.  But it's the Cinematography that does it for me in the video.  It is extremely colorful and very well-produced.

Madonna: I F**ked up

I F**ked up is a great song.  It is only available on the Deluxe edition of MDNA yet it is worth the investment.  It appears as track two on Disc 2 of MDNA, the Deluxe edition; however it's a great investment as Beautiful Killer appears on that edition as well.  Beautiful Killer is actually the best song from that edition; but there is also a great remix of Give me all your luvin' on that Disc as well.  That remix is entitled the Party Rock remix and it features and is produced partially by the great Electropop group, LMFAO.

Madonna: Beautiful Killer

I am just listening to Beautiful Killer from Madonna's latest album.  It appears as track one on the Deluxe edition of MDNA so Disc 2.  It is not the first track on Disc 1, but the first track on Disc 1 is really amazing as well; in fact even more so.  That track is entitled Girl gone wild and it was released as the second single to MDNA, Madonna's coveted twelfth Studio album.  I waited a long time for that album however it was completely worth the wait because it is the most amazing Madonna album I have ever heard and the most well-written.
