Usher

Usher has some of his best songs in Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home) and OMG. I love the bass line in Hey Daddy (Daddy's Home) and the song OMG is very catchy. However I still think that Love in This Club is his best all time song. I love that song so much that I went out and bought the entire album. I have only downloaded three songs from Raymond v. Raymond because I feel as though this is only a follow up to the much hyped Here I Stand. That album had much more success and I miss those days in early 2008 when all I could think about was Love in This Club. His most recent album Raymond v. Raymond took a long time to gain success but none the less it garnered that in the beginning of the summer and did after all debut at number one on the Billboard 200.

Rihanna

Rihanna has an amazing hit song in Rude Boy.  Unfortunately none of the other songs on this album have done nearly as well as her past songs.  It looks like her run at being a number one hit star has ended.  She still puts out the hits, it's just not as many people listen to her songs anymore with her most recent album.  It could be that people have purchase fatigue, or she might just end up like so many of her peers.  She has six number one hits on the Billboard Hot 100, however most of them have come before this most recent album.  That does not mean that she is done producing hits, however her generous hit making days might have ended.  None the less, this is an amazing album and should not be ignored.  Whether you like Rihanna or not, you have to admit that she has changed pop music.

Da Ali G Show

Da Ali G Show is one of the best shows I have ever seen.  It is most entertaining and completely hilarious. I do not find the Borat segments to be entertaining anymore but that is because I feel there is enough Islam prejudice in the world and I am only adding to it, by entertaining that kind of humor. Having said that, I still think it is funny, but I chose to exclude those segments because it is a distraction from my real sense of humor. My favorite is the Ali G segments because those are the most entertaining. I find the Bruno segments to be a little bit stereotypical as well, and although I watch them and are entertained by them, I find them a bit homophobic. The Ali G segments are is what it is all about anyhow and if you can survive Bruno and Borat, well the rest is completely amazing. Also there are some amazing extras included in the DVD that are not found anywhere else.

Jason Derulo

Jason Derulo has one of the best songs in Ridin' Solo in my opinion of the year.  I love Whatcha Say and In My Head as well, but not as much.  I guess you could say it is because at this moment in my life I am riding solo.  And I kind of like it like that.  I was bogged down for a long time in my life, and now I am finally free to do the things I want to do and I do not have to impress anyone. Having said that I am always looking to improve my life so if being in a relationship will improve my life, well I will definitely take it in to consideration. After all being single is fun, but only to a certain point.
