District 9

This was probably the worst movie I have ever seen.  It seems like it takes place in a slum and it does.  I do not love the surroundings in this film and it left me with a really rotten taste in my mouth.  The aliens are not cute like you think they would be rather they are filthy and need a bath.  Anyhow I would think that since Peter Jackson is attached to this film that it would be amazing, since he is afterall responsible for the lord of the rings trilogy.

Lady Gaga

Lady Gaga has one of the best songs of the year, and just in time for the new year to begin, in the hit Bad Romance.  It took me quite some time to become hooked on this hit, but once hooked the emotions began.  She is an oustanding artist and I recommend this hit to anyone who is remotely attracted to her type of music.  I am still waiting for Katy Perry's new album, and I still think that these two young woman are the new Britney and Christina of the next generation.  Anyhow I think that you should either download this song or buy the cd.

Terminator

This movie was the most stupid movie I saw this year that I bought.  That's not saying much though because I only critique movies I buy and I haven't boughten many movies this year.  It's more than I usually buy, but it's not as much as in the past.  So having said that, I would recommend this movie to people who are really bored over xmas and don't want anything better to do than watch a dark kind of movie that has lots of dirt involved and evil machines.  Anyhow I find this movie to be kind of good, but the movie I saw preceding this was Star Trek, and I found that to be an awesome movie and one of the best movies I have ever seen.  I am getting more movies at xmas so I will let you know how things go and I also just purchased yet another movie over the weekend, but I have to have time to promote this movie in order to move on.

Alicia Keys

I personally think that she should have included Empire State of Mind on her cd but I realize that it is Jay-Z's song. It's just that I find this to be her hit this year, along with his, but as you can see I am featuring her on this blog and not him because I find that I am so in love with her, and it was either her, or him. I am glad I chose her, because she has some amazing hits on her new cd, it's just that they pale in comparison to the great Empire State of Mind. And I am glad that she did at least pay homage to it on her latest cd. I recommend Try Sleeping with a Broken Heart, as well, because it is an amazing inspirational hit.

Josh Groban

Josh Groban has one of the best Christmas cds I have ever heard in Noel, the 2007 hit holiday cd. I never really listened to Josh Groban before this era, however I saw fit to purchase this holiday cd in 2008 as I was craving an excellent holiday cd and this was sure to deliver. All I could think while listening to it was how fabulous it was and how much I wanted to purchase more and more cds like it.

So I went out and purchased many more. That was the year I discovered how many Christmas cds I could get and this year is about enjoying them more and more. So I have begun to listen to them quite frequently and I am taking a break from my more modern secular music I am so accustomed to listen to.

If you decide to purchase any holiday cd this year, then I highly recommend this Christmas cd as it has one of the favourites on it, in O Come All Ye Faithful. That is one of my all time favourites and I highly recommend anything with Josh Groban as the title as after listening to this cd I fell in love with the music.
