E=MC^2 was released as Mariah Carey's eleventh studio album in 2008. Coming off the heels of The Emancipation of Mimi, it was a great year for Mariah Carey, scoring her most recent #1. However, unfortunately she has been unable to regain that momentum. She hasn't scored a #1 hit single since then and that is going on ten years now.
