Jai Ho! was released from the movie Slumdog Millionaire. Slumdog Millionaire also featured the song Paper Planes. Paper Planes is sung by M.I.A. who is of Sri Lankan descent. Slumdog Millionaire was shot in Mumbai, formerly known as Bombay. AR Rahman originally recorded Jai Ho! But the Pussycat Doll version is much better, appropriately entitled Jai Ho! (You are my destiny).
