Underneath it All was released as the third single from No Doubt's fifth studio album, Rock Steady. Rock Steady was released in 2001, shortly after the release of their fourth studio release, Return of Saturn. Return of Saturn was not welcomed nearly as much as Rock Steady. However, there is still some pretty great material contained within it, for example, the hit single entitled New.
