If was released as the second single from janet. I bought into that album before If was released but it wasn't until the release of If that I became extremely excited about it. If, in my opinion, was the best single from that album and I enjoy that song so much; that even though I previously owned janet. on Compact Disc, I decided to go ahead and but it again because If is so good.
