Rock Steady was released in 2001. It was released one year after the Return of Saturn. But that was due in large part to the flop that was the Return of Saturn. Return of Saturn is a very well-produced and well-written album but that may be why it suffered the downfall it did. Rock Steady was more light and No Doubt put a little less effort into it.
