Goodbye was released after the departure of Geri Halliwell from the group. That group was the Spice Girls and even though it was never the same after her departure, they produced some great hits and some very well-written music with the song and single Goodbye being one of them. It was later included on their third Studio album entitled Forever however Goodbye was released prior to the singles released from that album as a separate standalone single from a different part of the group's history.
