Rain was released as the fourth official single from Erotica, even though Fever preceded it as a Club release only. Rain is one of my favorite songs ever and the Music video is wild and outstanding. My favorite line from Rain is when Madonna says "here comes the sun" and that excites me because I often think of Christ since he is the son of God. I also like it because in the Roman Catholic Church the Blessed Virgin Mary (BVM) is also known as the Madonna to distinguish her from the other important Mary in Christ's life and that would be Mary Magdalene who was supposedly the first Pope or acted as the Pope in the early Church. My understanding is that she was with Jesus most often and was even there at the end of his life on the day of Crucifixion.
