American life was released as the lead single from the album
of the same name. That is Madonna's
ninth Studio album and it was released shortly after the war on terror began. That was a pretty sad time in my life considering
I had just lost my sister four months to the day exactly preceding the now
infamous date of September 11th, 2001. It would be fun to erase that time but
you can't change the past. So I will just move on and pretend that it didn't
happen.
