I am in the middle of watching Captain America: The First Avenger and it is horrible. Chris Evans is pretty good in it, however the dialogue is atrocious and acting is beyond cheesy. I didn’t expect much from this film series and so therefore I am glad that I chose not to buy it on Blu-ray Disc as that was my original intention. I am going to watch the rest of the film as it may pick up by the end, but it’s about the World War II and that time period in my mind is most of the worst times of the 20th Century.
So I wrapped up the second half of Captain America: The First Avenger and it was pretty good. I had a funny feeling it would get better and it was but now that there is a new Captain America coming out in 2014, I don’t know if I can support it. It’s entitled Captain America: The Winter Soldier and it doesn’t look nearly as exciting as the first installment, however the first installment left something to be desired. Chris Evans is a pretty good actor and he held it together, but he far from winning an Academy Award.
