I recently downloaded the Zedd Remix of Save the World and I don’t think I have ever heard a better remix in my life. It is absolutely amazing and stunning, just what I thought it would be. I downloaded the original version of this song earlier this year thinking I would sample it before I actually committed to a remix and I am glad I did because it solidified my belief in this song. Of course it could do without some of the melodramatic lyrics, but overall it’s a great song and an even better remix. I could not have gotten through the last few weeks of austerity without it as the world is becoming a very depressing place. I would rather think of this song and all the joy it brings to me. It talks about saving the world but I would rather focus on the transient aspects of it rather than its philosophical message. Transient music is so much more mind numbing and that’s just what I need right now.
