I just re-tested my Sims installation on my external hard drive and it seems to be working out pretty good. Alleviates a lot of pressure on my Hard Drive and overall it’s a better picture for my CPU and memory as those all interact with the Hard Drive as well. The thing is I have to run an external source of power but right now with my air conditioner in from the summer things couldn’t be better for excess power in my part of the building. Not only that but a lot of the neighbors are either back at work or not at home so that makes for even less power consumption. We shall see how things turn out but right now I am taking it slow because I feel if I rush through things it may crash again and it might even crash while I type this, referring to my computer that is.
