No Doubt: Don’t Speak

Don’t Speak is ultimately – the – single that catapulted No Doubt to the international stage.  It did so well back in 1996 that it effectively went to #1 in every Developed country in the world.  Above and beyond that, it stayed at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Airplay for 16 weeks.  Having said that it was only released as the album’s third single, referring to the multi-Platinum-selling third Studio album care of No Doubt, entitled Tragic Kingdom.  Tragic Kingdom did so well in North America that it is certified Diamond in Canada and the United States of America.  Diamond represents sales of 10,000,000 units in the United States which is 10x as many than Platinum.
