Inconsolable is a great song. It was released as the lead single to the
Backstreet Boys' follow-up to Never Gone entitled Unbreakable. That album was released two years after Never Gone whereas Never Gone was released five years after Black & Blue as
that time period represented their hiatus. However they came out with an album after
Unbreakable as well, another two years later, and I even read that they are
coming out with yet an additional release originally scheduled for 2012 but has
since been pushed back to 2013. However
even at that rate I am impressed.
