Candy Shop was not released as an official single from the album entitled Hard Candy. But it did serve as the opening number on Madonna's Sticky and Sweet tour in support of that album. Pharrell Williams co-wrote Candy Shop and the Neptunes, Pharrell Williams' production duo, co-produced it.
