The Music video for Wannabe was released in 1996. It is super exciting and was back then as well! The Spice Girls debuted with this video, lyrically speaking and it was a great choice. Wannabe has a great message for girls of all ages in my opinion, since their greatest contribution to society, in my opinion was 'girl power.' It's too bad that not all segments of the population feel as strongly as I do concerning that message!
