I am in the middle of watching Slumdog Millionaire and have ironically enough been seeing more coverage on India's economic situation since I started. India is a great place but it has a depreciating currency with the current rise in the Dollar. That might change but what won’t change is India's economic future. They are poised to become one of the largest economies in the world. Right alongside countries such as the United States of America and China.
I finally finished the second half of Slumdog Millionaire and it was quite amazing. It was so amazing that it moved me to tears. I am so in love with this movie and the girl in it reminds me so much of my sister, Tanya; and I just find that phenomenal. The girl’s name in the movie, so character is Latika; the person who plays Latika is Freida Pinto; most prominently as the other two actresses are not featured as much. Therefore there are two other actresses who play Latika, at younger ages, just like there are two other actors who play the other two characters featured in this film; so altogether three for each. Dev Patel and Madhur Mittal are the other two most prominently featured actors.
