Madonna: Like a Virgin

 

I just finished listening to the song Like a Virgin from the album Like a Virgin and I was stunned.  The quality is so different even compared to the Immaculate Collection version.  I haven’t listened to The Immaculate Collection version for a long time so I am not exactly sure how it would compare, but I was so much more likely to listen to the original found on the album itself, Like a Virgin.  There is nothing like listening to the original and perhaps what made it even more-sweet was the fact that the album came with the lyrics.  I love reading along with the song and singing my heart out.  That’s actually the best part, but I can tell you it’s not the only reason why I bought this album.  Madonna is a great singer and this is her follow-up to her self-titled debut album.  Let’s just say that Madonna did not suffer the “sophomore slump”.
