Evanescence: What You Want

 

I have never subscribed to the whole Evanescence movement, but I did finally succumb this time around.  I do not regret it one bit.  This song is a great inspirational track and although they might not think it’s inspirational, it is none the less because it inspires me to do great things.  It talks about doing what you want and then it goes on to say that she is everything you can’t control.  That’s a great uplifting message even though you might feel as though you are being controlled.  Of course everyone is persuaded to things at their own risk, but it is good to have some form of control, even if it is minute.  So this song is great for getting things done as it may inspire you to do things you would otherwise feel uncomfortable doing.  What You Want is from their third studio album entitled Evanescence, named after the group.
