One Step Closer was released as the lead single from Hybrid Theory. Hybrid Theory was released as the debut Studio album by Linkin Park. However they were previously known as Hybrid Theory, so it was a play on that. I prefer Linkin Park, but Hybrid Theory was a good choice.
