Erotica was released as the lead single from the album of the same name. That album was Madonna's fifth Studio album and it followed in order of release, Madonna, Like a Virgin, True Blue and Like a Prayer. What followed Erotica was Bedtime Stories, Ray of Light, Music, American Life, Confessions on a dance floor, Hard Candy and MDNA. Those are Madonna's twelve Studio albums.
