New is one of the best songs I have ever heard, let alone one of my favorite No Doubt songs ever. The Music video was directed by Jake Scott and he did an amazing job. The song itself was written by Gwen Stefani and Tom Dumont and it shows. This is when Gwen Stefani took on more of a lead role with respect to Creative writing and in my opinion that's when the band really prolonged their career into the early 2000s and now at this stage of the game in 2012.
