The original version of Jai Ho was released for the movie entitled Slumdog Millionnaire, a film I used to own on disc. But the Pussycat Dolls decided to do their own version featuring Nicole Scherzinger. Which I don't completely understand but perhaps she wanted to stand out in order to support her solo effort.
