Honey was released as the lead from the album entitled Butterfly. That was Mariah Carey's fifth Studio album and it was released in 1997. It was preceded by, in order of release, Mariah Carey, Emotions, Music Box and Daydream. Rainbow, Charmbracelet, The Emancipation of Mimi, E=MC^2 and Memoirs of an Imperfect angel then followed. With her next Studio album set to be released in May of 2013.
