Borderline was released as the fifth and final single from the album entitled Madonna. However I generally classify it as the third single because, Madonna for example did not include the first two singles released from her debut album on her most successful Greatest hits album, The Immaculate Collection. Only the later three singles released from Madonna, the album, were included on the Immaculate Collection.
