TiK ToK was released as the debut single by American recording artist named Ke$ha. I first became familiar with her from The Simple Life; the hit reality show that starred Paris Hilton & Nicole Richie. She appeared in one of the episodes but then she completely blew me away with this hit song, TiK ToK. It was at the end of 2009 and it couldn't have been at a more appropriate time. The Great recession had just kicked in and I was in the mood to party after becoming completely exhausted during the run up to it in the 80s, 90s and even the 2000s; as slow as they were!
