Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel was released as Mariah Carey's twelfth studio album. That album was released in 2009; however it wasn't until years later when I finally decided to purchase Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel on Compact disc. That is because for a short time I was buying MP3s instead of CDs. That stopped when I found out how terrible in sound quality MP3s actually are.
