Live To Tell was released months prior to the release of True Blue. In fact Madonna released Papa Don't Preach prior to the release of True Blue. Papa Don't Preach is more or less the lead single as Live To Tell was written for a movie. However Live To Tell is a great song and I enjoy it thoroughly more than any other single from True Blue.

Madonna: Live To Tell
Live To Tell was released months prior to the release of True Blue. In fact Madonna released Papa Don't Preach prior to the release of True Blue. Papa Don't Preach is more or less the lead single as Live To Tell was written for a movie. However Live To Tell is a great song and I enjoy it thoroughly more than any other single from True Blue.
