Burning Up was released as the second single from Madonna in her early career. That is assuming that Everybody was her debut single and Holiday, her third single, were all released in America. I say that because sometimes people don't always release songs in America and therefore internationally only, because not all songs do well in America and sometimes artists don't want to take that risk. However there is a Music video for it so I am pretty sure that it was released in America as her second single.
