Music was released as the lead single from the album of the same name. It's the title track and appears as the first track on the album. The album was released in 2000, around a year before 9/11 and represented somewhat of a wind down from 1999 and definitely preceded one of the worst days in history. So it was an excellent idea, in my opinion, for Madonna to release it well before that dreadful day.
